Your brain is a good start. These shitty "clean up tools" are for 5yos and grandmas who don't know any better.

You don't. Cleaning up registry is complete placebo.

If there are entries in the registry that I don't want in the registry then I'm going to get rid of them. Deal with it, homosexual.

The registry is not supposed to be cleaned up. Unused, empty, invalid entries do literally nothing to your performance. Your registry can not "bloat" your pc.

Categorically false. The registry has some speed optimisations that fail to slow table scans once the tree hits a certain size/complexity. In the old days it was so pathetically small any normal user could hit it just installing a few programs, they never really fixed it they just increased the numbers until fewer people complained.

            > that fail to slow table scans
            ??
            either way
Categorically and ackshually this is not a concern after XP since registry handling is now being done in a much efficient way

            Don't ever change, IQfy.

            https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/sysinfo/registry-storage-space

Once the paged pool size is exhausted the tables have to be scanned on disc. The limits were increased, then later decreased as the registry became deprecated and less useful for users vs. their chrome tabs.

Any program offered for free is basically malware or spying on you anon. Been using this for years to clean up registry issues, remove persistant cookies and as an uninstaller (for windows pre installed crap) and I've had no viruses or major issues.
