Study proves no relationship between eating meat and getting cardiovascular disease

Red and processed meat intake and risk of cardiovascular disease: A two-sample Mendelian randomization study
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S240545772400038X

>Conclusions
>This MR study demonstrated no significant causal relationships between red/processed meat intake and the risk of the four CVD outcomes examined. Further investigation is warranted to confirm these findings.

    Why edit the conclusions?

    >In conclusion, our MR analysis, utilising large-scale GWAS data, did not find a significant causal association between genetically predicted consumption of red and processed meat, including pork meat, mutton meat, and beef meat, and the risk of coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, heart failure, or stroke. These findings suggest that the consumption of red and processed meat may not be a major contributor to the development of these cardiovascular disease outcomes.

the number of science communicators and PhD corporate shills using the word "prove" to add authenticity to their junk science is staggering.

remember that nutritional epidemiology is a junk science that shouldn't be given a single shred of credibility.
whatever they say (eating red meat is good/bad/causes cancer/cures cancer...) should be ignored, their papers should be thrown into the trash and their credentials discarded and ridiculed.

If they did a similar study investigating sneed oils they would get different results. Sneed oils cause heart disease

Red meat is healthy sorta(if clean) and processed usually means light pasteurization. We know ox-LDL causes CVDs, and LDL are more likely to become oxidized under repeated heating and exposure to air. Already with this fact, the article is disingenuous.
