I'm a NEET with no prospects and I live with my parents. What do people even spend money on aside from rent, food, and maybe a vehicle?

    Welcome to 6-figure hell, kid.
    You're here forever.

Seriously though, what do I even do with six figures? Investing in mutual funds seems way too risky and obviously I'm not even thinking about sticking it in crypto. Do I just keep it somewhere safe and be content with 3-5% annual returns?

        Do what

quick put it all in VOO and live on the interest, thats a comfy 30k a year

says and put it in a passive index fund, not a mutual fund (too high fees, not better performance after accounting for survivorship bias).
Learn to live with the daily fluctuations, make sure you hold your nerve and don't sell at a loss when there are inevitably dips, just hold and wait for it to go up and sell when you need to spend money.
VOO tracks the S&P 500, I'd suggest a total US fund or a globally diversified one but VOO won't kill you.

You probably wont make it with this mindset. 350k is peanuts. You could at least all into BTC/ETH for the cycle top. If its me I'd put half into that and the other half into some small/mid cap RWA.

        >mutual funds seems way too risky
You will die poor my friend. You can not touch that $350k for the next 60 years and you will have the equivalent of $60k due to inflation. You either put it into mutual funds and ride the volatility (don't pussy out and sell at the first sign of a crash), "risk" it in crypto, or die poor. Your best bet in modern opinion is

quick put it all in VOO and live on the interest, thats a comfy 30k a year

The gains will beat inflation and give you enough returns that you should be able to withdraw your annual $10k. If you're going to be an uberb***h about it then at least put it in 30y bonds right now for a GUARANTEED 4.5% return.

this is basically what all boomer retirement funds are doing.

I just need to make enough to buy non Turkish dental implants for my broken bong mouth. Then I'll live under a bridge, a troll with wealth and a nice smile.

The Turks do veneers, not implants. Reputable dental surgeons in the UK aren't even too expensive, how many do you need? You'd probably even be able to negotiate a discount if you want several.

Literally like 8 if I was going for individuals. I was looking at all on 4 but thatd be close to 30k for both arches. Fricking sucks too because it was a random assault that caused it, not being a dirt bag. c**ts should be forced to pay full damages for restoration for shit like that.

That's brutal, sorry to hear that. Is it too bad visible when you're talking?
I'm got a couple of straight-up deformed back teeth that are fricked and will get implants for them eventually which is why I've looked into them a lot.

Lucky not, but it means never being able to comfortably laugh and joke around without feeling like a mutant lel. Yeah I'd definitely get them if you can. What really shocked me is how quickly all your teeth can start fricking up if anything throws off the equilibrium of your biting/chewing.

fwiw, decent boats are absurdly cheap in Florida.
Spend 20-30k on a boat, find a liveaboard slip you can BUY (50-80k+yearly maintenance fee), and you are set for a long time.
Slip will pay itself off in <10 years by not renting, and you can always sell it later for whatever.
Then you can just coast for three or four decades off the rest of your funds.

OP get a cute personal trainer and buy comfortable clothing.
That'll make 6 figure hell more manageable.

If you sperg your money on dumb shit you'll regret it.
If you buy drugs, women, a cuck shed, a sportscar, etc., you'll regret it.

Buy Silver, Gold, Platinum, Quality Guns, Ammo, Tools, Agricultural Land, 20+ year old well maintained car/truck with low miles (last car I bought is a 2000 Mercedes e320) that is easy to maintain (Think Chevy LS, Ford Panther Platform, Buick LeSabre 3800, Older BMW or Mercedes) and keep some of the cash (maybe $50k) for buying things in a savings account (~4.5% interest) and/or short term CDs that pay a little better (~5.3% interest).

Turn your cash into real assets before the dollar loses purchasing power in the inevitable hyperinflationary death spiral.

And learn some trades/skills that can keep you comfy with cash flow.

    Cheers! ☮
