But whether anime is your thing or not, just take a break from all news and social media, IQfy, youtube, etc. People like to unload all their problem and it makes the world seem worse than it actually is. Rarely do people talk about the good mundane things that happen in life unless they are exceptionally unusual.

I liked castlevania. Attack on titan was also pretty good. Sometimes I indulge in one punch man. If I had young kids I don't think I would want them to watch any of that (maybe OPM).

He's right though. Watching things on TV that aren't about self-improvement or upskilling is degenerate. Pleasure should be derived from physical interaction with the outside world to the maximum degree possible to maximize mental health.

            >the weird k-on type anime
            That's called "slice of life".
There's plenty of that. It tends to be Prozac in anime form, and given how stressful real life can be, it is little surprise that the stuff is hugely popular. K-On and such don't appeal to little girls, as far as I know.

Precure is a genuine little girls' anime, for example. But it also sports that "slice of life" vibe and Precure warriors are basically all-female Power Rangers with DBZ strength. How is that not going to attract older audiences, both male and female?

Lastly, children's anime is meant to appeal to children, not the anti-social otakus who can only think in terms of moronic cliches and find their beloved cliches more appealing than anything approximating real people due to their intense hatred of normies, and so children's anime end up having cuter girls and cooler characters, plus a bunch of genuinely goofy characters due to them being designed less inline with otakus' distorted and cringey version of reality and more in line with actual humans and comedy that most folks across the planet would get.

just the ones you notice. Me and the other ones in my area go the same speed as cars if not slightly slower. Because going into curves fast on a bumpy roads is sketchy, but it's fun if you're leaning way off like GPMoto racer and keeping the bike upright 😀

I wish I could drive like that, but I pussy out and do the curves with an expectation that I might need to swerve at any moment. This Rekurs in giant chicken stripes and at least one instance of women getting out of the car, snapping a pic of my back wheel and driving away.

Porn peaks your dopamine WAY higher than anything in regular life ever could. When you're not using porn there is nothing in regular life that can even compete.
Dopamine is critical in everyday life for regular motivation. Mice that have had their dopamine receptors removed literally just lay down, not even eating food unless it is directly put into their mouths.

Wrong. DA−/− mice (when given DA supplements 24 hours prior to observation) can execute behaviors necessary to seek and ingest food, but they do not eat enough to survive.

I stopped saying no to invitations from friends. I stopped working overtime. I have also found that happy (sounding) or easy music can help lift your mood, even if the lyrical content can be heavy and full of real world problems. Last but not least if you actually need it - seek medical help for your depression if its bad.
If you have a dick ( and since everyone has a dick here, even the girls) go get your free testosterone level checked. If you are apathetic, indifferent, and depressed there is a good chance you are also low on T. (working out will also help fix this)
