The Confederates had the right to secede.

Lincoln was a tyrant for invading them. Whatever your opinions on slavery are, invading the South for seceding was a betrayal of the principle of the "consent of the governed" which was the founding principle of America and the justification for the American Revolution.

Um sweaty, the Confederates were the inventors of interracial porn.

Just ask Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemmings.

    >betrayal of the principle of the "consent of the governed"
did the confederate states get the consent of the slaves before enslaving them?

Did the Patriots get the consent of the slaves before declaring independence? Hell, they didn't even get the consent of the population, at least the Confederates put secession to a popular vote unlike the Continental Congress.

Even if that's true; they committed an act of war by fire on Fort Sumpter. Since it isn't those states were in a state of rebellion.

If the Confederates had won, I'm convinced there'd be a right-populist anti-planter revolt at some point where all Bantus got forcibly deported back to Africa.

I’m 100% confederate sympathizer but I think the scenario you described also would have played out had the southern states not seceded and slavery came to its natural conclusion over the course of another decade or so, rather than Lincoln unleashing havoc and using the Black as a weapon of war with his emancipation proclamation.

True, regardless of whether they had the "right" to succeed, they lost that right when they refused diplomatic solutions to getting the Union to recognize them over time, and just seized federal armories and attacked a federal fort.
That they made comparisons to 1776 shows that in their understanding there was no peaceful way to secede.
