The walk of shame is a right of passage, not rape

Coyote ugly. It's a phrase men use to describe the experience of waking up, hungover as shit, in bed next to a girl so ugly you'd rather chew your arm off than have her stir. Yep, another night of too many shooters and very poor judgement. Well played, tequila.

I'm willing to bet that every single varsity athlete or high status (medicine, engineering, computer science) male on any given college campus has had the experience. Why? Because they get hunted. All the time. By women. You see these guys staggering bleary-eyed into the dorm rooms the next morning, bro-punching their friends and saying "Dude, how could you let me do that?"

The walk of shame. A right of passage. One that men seem to relish, enjoy and get over pretty damn quickly. Yeah, you fricked an ugly chick. Or a fat chick. Whatever. You drank too much, lost all your reason and tumbled into bed with someone you wouldn't normally touch with a ten yard pole. Ho hum. Where we going tonight, bros?

Women, on the other hand, treat this exact same situation an entirely different way. They get dressed up in their best prostitute clothes, head out to a frat party, drink their faces off, end up in bed with some guy they wouldn't normally touch with a ten yard pole, wake up the next morning feeling like a total bawdbag and then it happens. Someone must be to blame for this. "I can't possibly have gotten shitfaced and exercised some really poor judgement. Moi? Ce n'est pas possible! I am an innocent blushing virgin with impeccable moral standards. Why, only prostitutes get smashed and frick random guys in a frat house, and I am not a prostitute so JESUS MOTHER OF GOD I WAS RAPED!"

Please. You weren't raped. You were trashed. Why is it that men are held responsible for their actions no matter what their state of inebriation, but women get a pass. It doesn't matter if you were drunk, stripped naked, straddled the guy in your best cowgirl and fricked like a banshee. You were drunk. You can't consent. You were raped.

Dude might have been just as pissed up as you, but he can't cry rape because rationality. Only men are rational creatures? Really? Bull. Shit.

There are women so delusional they actually think we live in a "rape culture". What the frick?

No, we don't live in a rape culture. We live in a Don't You b***hes Have Any Friends culture. Me and the Princess have our fair share of experience dancing like madwomen in our lingerie in night clubs filled with horny men starting looking like the cast of Ocean's Twelve after that last appletini. Many nights ended with crazy slobbery make-out sessions with the DUDE WHO LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE BRAD PITT.

Here's the thing. We protected each other. Not from Brad Pitt. From our own BAD JUDGEMENT. Rape culture holds men, and only men, responsible for what women do. And thanks, but I prefer to be responsible for my own fricking behaviour. And when I'm about to do something really stupid, that I will regret the next morning, I rely on my friends to save me FROM MYSELF.

So go ahead. Wear those fishnets and hoochie shorts. You look fricking hot! Play beer pong! Strip for that guy. Go ahead and frick him. Make all those decisions BUT UNDERSTAND THEY ARE YOUR DECISIONS. You don't get to wake up the next day feeling like a prostitute and ruin a man's life because YOU ARE A bawd. Women–and men–who really were violently brutalized by strangers totally against their will aren't helped by your idea of a rape culture. In fact the rape culture YOU created makes it worse for them by equating a truly violent and awful crime with bad decisions made while drunk.

So embrace your bawd. Or trust your friends when they tell you it's time to say nighty-night to Brad. Or you know, shut the frick up. Take your pick.

First, I apologize for my bad English, it's not my first language.

The fact that men can not say the were raped because of criticism doesn't mean it's right to do the same for everyone.
Being called a prostitute or a player should not be the standard.
But apparently, most MRAs are so busy fighting "feminists" to actually do something about the patriarchal stereotypes the are being held prisoners of.

This is the equality you people are looking for? "If men can not be raped, women can't either; equality".
You people got it all wrong.
But I guess we should have fought for men's right to vote, or wear pants, or work outside of their homes… wait. That wasn't a problem for them then. You can blame feminism as a movement for the lack of inclusion of POC in the beginning, or the lack of interesctionality, but not for not fighting for men's rights they already had.

Male disposabilty has existed since the beginning of the patriarchal system, but no one seemed to care until women started working and exercising their basic human rights.
Just because a few "feminists" dismiss the oppression men face on a daily basis, it doesn't mean that as a movement, it does the same. Now, I can't consider myself a feminist, it's a really big name for me. But generalizing about the movement it would be the same as saying that every man is a pathetic excuse of a human being.
    No sane person believes this.

And by the way, feminists don't hate men. They hate human beings who play and perpetuate perfectly the horrible stereotype that both men and women created and accepted through out the years for that gender.

ik it's been a while since this was written, but that's exactly the kind of thinking that feminists carry. the "patriarchal system" was there cause it helped keep civilization going and women safe. and otherwise never existed till feminists made it up to get support. they do hate men too, just not men that act like women (though they probably hate them as well, it's a running theme). history lesson, in quite a few countries (i'm only aware of the US and england at the moment) it wasn't until WW1 when a lot of men got the right to vote as well, by helping the movement to get universal suffrage. up until then, it wealthy whities and quite a few of the women in the movement were at that level campaigning for only wealthy women (mostly white as well). the shit about not being able to come out about being raped affects both genders but compared to men, women have it easy as it's not unexpected (doesn't make it better, just not as surprising). with men, if they were believed at all (which doesn't happen really), it made headlines and became earth-shattering news to dozens of towns. the lack of this, means they aren't believed (this is taking into account said man getting past being called a pussy and whatnot that is required to get that level of care). also, those "horrible stereotypes" you mentioned are also used a lot against men. don't be fooled, the feminist agenda is all fun and games, no responsibility or effort anywhere near there which is why they make men do it all, thus the "male disposability" that is part of their dictatorship-style regime they want to put into effect which also includes killing any animal with fur that makes them look good, make-up that is made of seals, cocoa trees, and rare bloom-only-once-every-thousand-years flowers, and dozens of items produced in horrid ways or enviro-murdering techniques. make no mistake about what can happen when female consumerism is allowed to run wild and free and no one is allowed to show them the consequences, judgybitch, princesspixiepointless, and women them aside it seems. btw, does princesspixiepointless have any spaces?

What a vapid, straw man and pointless post. Blah blah blah NAFALT, blah blah blah dictionary definition, blah blah blah feminist revisionist history, blah blah blah you're full of shit. The feminist movement is judged by it's ACTIONS, the ACTIONS of the most prominent and powerful. Got it?

    um...

… and what about the women who are, y'know, ACTUALLY RAPED (to pen your overuse of capitals)? This is ill-advised and further shames women into not reporting when they have been physically abused; a feminist issue that does actually need fighting. I think it's an extremely immature argument to presume that girls who report rape are just prostitutes who can't admit when they regret a one night stand. Of course there are women like that – and, fine, write about them – but they are the minority and there are too many who are abused and too afraid to convict their attacker(s). Those are the girls we should be fighting for, not knocking them into a sex-shamed corner of the room and telling them to shut up and get on with it. By not even acknowledging them in your piece, this is exactly what you're doing.

Yeah, here's the thing, Miss Beatty. While I absolutely believe one in four women BELIEVE they have been raped, they haven't been. They are some combination of spineless chicken shits with no self-esteem (which is NOT a sex partner's fault or responsibility) and guilt ridden bawds looking for someone to blame.

Take that Amherst "rape" scandal. The "victim" claims she could hear the voices of her friends on the other side of the door while she was held down and "raped".

b***h please. You had classic missionary sex with your friends right outside the door an didn't make a fricking peep? From his perspective, she was probably a really boring frick.

Here's a clue: if you don't want to have sex, SAY SO. If he doesn't listen, SCREAM FOR HELP! Her friends were right there!!

The fact that the Amherst girl is a gutless coward and that her partner couldn't MAGICALLY READ HER MIND doesn't make it rape.

The fact that anyone could characterize that situation as rape is a slap in the face to women who really ARE raped. Dragged in a ditch and fricked kind of rape. Real rape. Those women are victims and I'll stand behind them and not some whiny little rich b***h who thinks she's too precious to be a prostitute.

" I'm willing to bet that every single varsity athlete or high status (medicine, engineering, computer science) male on any given college campus has had the experience. Why? Because they get hunted. All the time. By women. "

Are you writing from some place in Asia? In this country (USA) engineering and computer science nerds do not get hunted by women at all, what to speak of all the time. Medicine men? They do somewhat better.

" Me and the Princess have our fair share of experience dancing like madwomen in our lingerie in night clubs filled with horny men starting looking like the cast of Ocean's Twelve after that last appletini. Many nights ended with crazy slobbery make-out sessions with the DUDE WHO LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE BRAD PITT."

OK that ^ shows you're not an Asian woman 😉 , but still, what country are you writing from that has women hunting down engineering and comp sci nerds? American geeks and non-competitive sexual marxists everywhere are ready to book flights!

    Keanu

Hey Judgy b***h, just found you linked from Woman and the Dragon. Love this post. I'm an introspective bro, and my virginity losing story was exactly what you describe here…I was so blacked out there was no chance of me consenting (not even sure how I got hard, but the young bro body can do amazing things). She was older, I was in high school on a college visit, she said I looked too drunk to function so she should probably ‘take me home' and put me to bed…Oh she put me to bed alright…and then some. I have almost no memory of losing my virginity. Just a flash of a female body on top of me. I woke up, the following questions occurred to me in approximately 10 second increments (I am not exaggerating):

    "Who am I?"

    "I am Keanu, bro king."

    "Where am I?"

"I am at University of Partying, on a college visit. HOLY SHIT I AM IN SOMEONE'S dorm room."

"Why the frick am I naked?"

    ?TBD?

"Why is there a naked girl next to me???"

"Keanu, she was on top of you last night."

By the feminist definition, I was raped. Would I ever consider, like, pressing charges?

Frick no. I wouldn't consider doing anything because slapping my own dumb young face. Yes, I regretted it, but it was a clear case of ‘people do dumb shit when they are fricked up.' This first encounter definitely set a pretty bad precedent for how I would hook up for most of college, though…I often wish I could have had my first sexual experience (well, penis-vegana experience) be in a positive, sober, hell maybe even loving? environment. Live and learn. But I was so fricked up that night, she could have even been like ‘wtf i didn't consent' and I would have had no idea.

Thanks mom and dad for my tall broad stature, facial symmetry and athletic build!
