Theonomy (Christian Reconstructionism)

Christian reconstructionism is a Calvinist movement. It developed primarily under the direction of R. J. Rushdoony, Greg Bahnsen and Gary North and has had an important influence on the Christian right in the United States. Its central theme is that society should be reconstructed under the lordship of Jesus in all aspects of life. In keeping with the biblical cultural mandate, Reconstructionists advocate for theonomy and the restoration of certain biblical laws said to have continued there applicability. Most Calvinists reject Christian reconstructionism and hold to classical covenant theology, which holds that the civil laws have been abrogated though they remain useful as guidance and revelation of God's character and holds to a Amillennialist eschatology. Christian reconstructionism is closely linked with postmillennial eschatology and the presuppositional apologetics of Cornelius Van Til.

In the Middle ages, Christians created/finalized a division of the laws of the old testament into 3 parts. The moral law (i.e. the ten commandments), the civil law (i.e. The case laws of the Israelites ) and the ceremonial law (i.e. rules about “uncleanness”, Sabbath, circumcision, Passover, dietary restrictions, clothing restrictions, feasts and festivals).

There are 3 types of Theonomists:
Theonomic Reconstructionists: Believes that the civil laws and the moral laws should be enforced by the government.
General Equity Theonomists: Believes that the moral laws should be enforced by the government and the General Equity/Moral principle of the civil laws should be enforced. Most advocate a common law system in its application.
Weak Theonomy/Basic Dominionism: Believes that the moral laws should be enforced by the government and the civil laws are no longer binding.

Do you little guys get so fat at some point that you think it's our job to pick through your idiotic grammar mistakes and smears of peanut butter and moron jizz so we can grant you credibility?
Do you just fail to recognize the misuse of common words when you are getting your daily reddit?
Is the fat piled up on your cheekbones interfering with your vision?

Sounds really dumb, unless you make for a Calvinist majority country, or somehow get enough power
Like, why would people who don't think it's true that God spoke to Moses, etc. Care about any of this? I mean, unless they just happen to, or you force them

Like, how is this supposed to work in reality?

            Ok. Nice talk.
So, like, do you agree with me that it's moronic?
Or do you have another perspective

Calvinism is the most israeli branch of Christianity and it's not even close. (Even Messianic israelites are less stereotypically israeli than Calvinists)

Reformed is now mostly academic reconstructed Christianity faithful, not exactly literally like scripture. These are all old and dead moronic practices that leads to modern, wordly idolatries. If you want to not interact with nonbelievers just learn to keep to yourselves just like the early Christians in the Roman Empire days
