These are the books I found when I was cleaning out my apartment; what to keep and what to toss?
I went through a "maybe people can tolerate my presence and reconcile my homosexual loser behavior if I become a smart book guy that says smart stuff" phase so I bought these over the course of a few years and I haven't retained any of them

what is the point of this thread? keep the books you want and toss the books you don't want. IQfy doesn't know what you like or dislike.

I need something to react to the thoughts in my head. I have access to many IPs so I don't have to be selective with the stuff I post. I want attention but more than that I want some omniscient person to see the garbage I post and somehow through the screen identify what is wrong with me because I haven't figured it out. Shoot me in the head

if you've read them, send them along their way. If you've had it for more than a year and haven't read it, you're not going to. Send any of those as well. Get Marie Konda's secret of tidying up or whatever it's called. It gave me the courage to throw things away, as well as making me aware that a person's home should be a place for the person they are becoming, not the person they used to be. I don't know how cluttered your home is, but a tidy environment lowers latent stress. Your posts suggest that stress levels are not low.

GR and Ulysses are the only good books here.

All of the rest are just common recommendations for 16 year olds received during their first 6 months on IQfy thoughbeit?

The vast majority of 16 year olds discovered this place because of the meme trilogy.

If your mind rotted is rotted by IQfy memes and have no personal taste maybe.

Those are the only books in that stack that are actually good, the rest are literal IQfy memes.

GR is fricking garbage. Annd it's a meme book too, newbie.

The genuine good books there are:

          Catcher in the rye
          Death of Ivan Ilyich
          Blood meridian
          Ulysses

Gödel, Escher, Bach is quite interesting, but some anti-intellectuals here will oppose it.

Good for you. But it doesn't change the truth. More 16 year olds discovered this place because of GR and IJ than any other book since.

I believe this unironically but also Ivan Ilyich is good and BM, GEB, and Screwtape Letters are alright.

Definitely keep Blood Meridian- I don't know about the rest, but I've heard some good things about The Catcher in the Rye.
