the problem is that smallest pixels in the market right now are the pixel 7a and vanilla 8, and these guys are in the early to mid 6 inches, they are disappointing

you provided examples where the tiny screen size is a bigger problem than a tiny black circle in the corner
the goal posts have not movred an inch

screen size has nothing to do with it. Be it 4" or 40" I intend to use all of the screen. Also as that screen comes down in size that little camera hole takes up more and more of it. At phone size that's a considerable portion.

here's how a 16:9 video would look on this phone
            >Be it 4" or 40" I intend to use all of the screen
i hope you don't mean you're going to crop the top and bottom of the video?

so you'll cut off half the video and you're worried about that tiny dot cutting off more?
            again, not an issue.

            >so you'll cut off half the video and you're worried about that tiny dot cutting off more?
Sometimes. When the creator doesn't know how to shoot widescreen. Other times the content comes that way. In that (very common) case, you're telling me you'll cut off half the video so you can pretend the camera hole doesn't exist?

can you describe what you mean? the way you're explaining it makes no sense
i will say now though i think you might have an actual neurological disorder. have you ever been tested?

Movies commonly (almost universally) are shot in 21:9
            >but you wouldn't watch a movie on a phone
Many do. Those who don't may want to pull up clips. Point is 16:9 is one of multiple aspect ratios content is shot in. Your golden phone is golden for a golden scenario. Outside of that, not much so.
