isn't it mostly because it's easier for many people to work on the same thing when it's in react rather than pure javascript?

with pure javascript you avoid the react, angular, nextjs garbage and focus directly into making your app.

yeah but in a bigger project i'd imagine it becomes chaotic to manage the dom manipulation shit. you'd have to enforce a lot of code style so people find it easier to just react it up instead.

you make your stuff modular, i don't understand why so many programmers have so many problems doing this

Corporate cargo cult programming culture. People doing what sounds good rather than using the best tool for the job.

they do this, everything is a fricking microservice

just how much slower things turn by using microservices?

            Anonymous

depends on what you're doing, could be anywhere from the same performance as a monolithic architecture with the resilience and scalability that microservices bring to literally 10x slower

And efforts like that usually just lead the company to create a microframework that is more or less React.

They still do this, but they create a microframework on top of React.

The reason is because they see big companies like Facebook or Google or another gayMAN company use those tech stacks to they think to themselves that they will be successful if they also use them. They're fricking morons, before they even plan their projects properly they're already using that garbage

and over them they use libraries like bootstrap adding more javascript bloat

    I don't think we can.
Do they know everything can run faster and easier using pure javascript for dynamic browser tasks?
No, that's why they're paying someone to do it.
But the best thing you can do is accept it, learn/adapt and do your job. Sometimes in life we have to do things that hurts us, but it's not the worst job in the world. There are much worse jobs with ridiculous demands out there.
