Usenet

So is this actually worth it?
Seems less autistic than private trackers these days.

No, it's useless. People use it mostly for TV content, and even for that i would rather get streamio + torrentio + debrid.

You'll be stuck with shitty low bitrate video if you do that though. I want Bluray quality.

I 'member when people actually used it for chatting. I got my first job off a usenet job posting group.

I hate how they nickel and dime you for every little thing.
You're already paying for your internet connection. Then you have to pay a Usenet provider, then find a decent indexer that also charges money.

Torrents are free unless you want to donate to server maintenance costs. There are also user comments and decent previews on download pages that allow you to tell if the torrent is crap or not.

the moron boy that spam always, torrents are better in thousand ways, but usenet indexers are good (the opened ones)

      >Torrents are free
Except you need a 10GbE seedbox with multiple terabytes of bandwidth and storage, and you have to fill it with stuff you don't even want because you need to build a ratio, but so is everyone else.

I immediately found S01 10bit 1080p and 4k bluray rips. Sounds like a (You) problem not a me problem. Oh and if you're pretending to be even more moronic than you really are to get spoonfed: frick off Black person.

            >1080p
            lol
            >4k
Yeah and each episode is like 1GB because the bitrate is lower than the 1080p rip.
            >S01
Yeah just the first season. Not all 6.
            Usenet is better.

Wrong but pathetic cope attempt, still I won't pay for usenet.

I'm going to pay for usenet because you are lying. Even Rutracker doesn't have the full show in 4k.
            You are LYING, Black person.

Keep lying homosexual. You can't download all 6 seasons of Better Call Saul in glorious 4k without it being a web rip (lol)

Keep baiting Black person but I'm still not going to spoonfeed you. If you genuinely can't work this out just save yourself the time and have a nice day.

You're lying, I've already checked all the public sources. They're shit.

I never understood the point of private trackers.

Better quality selection, especially for music where different versions of the same album can have drastically different sounds, especially loudness war bullshit.

I used it in the past (Newshosting if they still exist) when it was more viable since stable/fast speeds all the time and content not easily found elsewhere. Stuff I download is more accessible nowadays so little point paying for a provider.

Nah. It went to shit when everyone started encrypting their uploads. It used to be great for movies/TV and 0-day porn though, but those days are long gone.

that was always a thing and why alt.bin.boneless is enormous.
      >but those days are long gone.
i noticed that personally when the well known channels on efnet closed around me. it fricked a few people. all these indexers appeared charging money for downloads but a few didn't last long until they were shut down. many private indexers out there. some very well hidden.

when I was a wee 9 year old I saw some guy asking for a crack for some program on there, felt like helping so looked it up on astalavista and posted a link to it for them
that got some rando pissed that I posted cracks so they reported my post to my ISP, which made them threaten to turn it off
90s usenet boomers were nasty 🙁

German filesharing is still very much alive on usenet but outside of that no fricking clue.
