are you seriously telling me that is enough to block all microsoft pings to home ever?
seems extremely unlikely that they would not do it from multiple places, or that they would not add an exception for that in THEIR OWN firewall

          >seems extremely unlikely that they would not do it from multiple places
svchost.exe "Service Host", hosts all microsoft services. that includes dhcp and ntp. if you block it, all telemetry will cease.
          >or that they would not add an exception for that in THEIR OWN firewall
microsoft counts on lazy and moronic people like (You) to not run their firewall in default deny mode and just allow programs as one needs. it needs to do its job in professional environments
          go ahead and verify yourself:
          >1. set firewall to block all inbound and outbound connection as shown
          >2. mass delete all the inbound and outbound rules
          >3. add yourbrowser.exe to outbound and enable (ALLOW)
          >3. add svchost.exe to outbound and enable (ALLOW) to get an internet connection via dhcp, then disable (DENY)
          >4. profit
          it really is that simple

          >trust closed source firewall to block pings from the same company

then you can't trust simplewall either, because it also uses Windows Filtering Platform under the hood
          absolute moron

            >trust me bro if you use the windows firewall to block the windows telemetry it will work! it's perfectly safe bro, they will NEVER patch it!
you could have said something like but "just block these domains at the router level" but you obviously HAD to deploy the goy trap
you're either a shill or simply the dumbest fricking gorilla Black person midwit this board has ever seen

This. Using Windows is a liability. You should use it in a VM with a software and/or hardware firewall between it and anything-

Same but with android, especially samsung. I have it blocked but it just assumes the connection is bad and will spam 10 requests every 30 seconds before quieting down for an hour or so.
