Were WHG really that dark?

60% WHG, SHG people oftentimes (not always) looked white.

Look up the map and allele frequency from Palaeogenomics of Upper Palaeolithic to Neolithic European hunter-gatherers. Can't post it myself.
Everything points to them being very dark. EHG were the lightest.

I think this is largely the result of climate. Ukrainian HGs despite being genetically similar to SHG or Baltic HG were much darker than them. EHG were probably the lightest because most samples came from North Russia (Karelia).

SHG seem to be outliers who selected heavily for even rarer EHG traits

Also, Norwegian Hunter Gatherers were over 50% EHG.

WHG lacked SLC45A2 and SLC24A5(exceptions would be peripheral and/or late)
in combination they make up for over half of the variation in skin color of West Eurasians
however they didn't lack some less known variants like IRF4.
    >This gene is strongly associated with pigmentation: sensitivity of skin to sun exposure, freckles, blue eyes, and brown hair color.
So it seems possible that some had lighter brown complexions
lightest WHG would have been less dark than the darkest Sicilian IMO

      >IRF4.
      >>This gene is strongly associated with pigmentation: sensitivity of skin to sun exposure, freckles, blue eyes, and brown hair color.
Is it exclusive to West Eurasians? Which population had it first?

      >however they didn't lack some less known variants like IRF4.
      those variants contribute less

      >lightest WHG would have been less dark than the darkest Sicilian IMO
lmao no, sicilians have SLC45A2 and SLC24A5
lightest whgs were probably still darker than the average mena

      wrong
irf4 rs12203592 is used for eye color prediction, not skin color, it's also not that important since when it comes to eye color rs12913832 alone generally determines if you have blue eyes or not (with few exception) alone

        So WHG were truly atlanteans?

atlantis didn't exist, they were just dark skinned and blue eyed

atlantis didn't exist, they were just dark skinned and blue eyed

"Atlantis" is just a g(ay)reek transliteration of Aztlan/Asgard/Atlan-island.
greco-roman simps cannot for the life of themselves admit that atlantis was real and north-atlantic, especially americans and catholics who have a constant ongoing fetish of copypasting greco-roman headcanons despite owing their entire modern lifestyle to germanics.
