Very few people in history can be referred to as "actual super villains".
Stalin and Mao would probably qualify, the latter mostly in retrospect

In the 30 years war mostly because it gave imperial aspirations and power to a super militarized state like Sweden which didn't have much else to do but to use that power to wreck random neighbors

at least maos heart was in the right place

Yeah Qin literally came from a country called "Tigers and Wolves" was born among cannibals, and literally put entire countries male populations to death.
His tomb today is such a death trap of traps that archaeologists are terrified of excavating it.
        Nobody really compares.

his tomb hasn't been excavated yet because of the damage fresh air would do to the priceless contents inside.
When the Terracotta statues were excavated all the paint flaked off them immediately after 2,000 years of no exposure to fresh air, we only have a few pictures of what it was like before they all turned grey and chipped. given their complete indifference to the well-being of a couple dozen workers, the chinks are presumably waiting until technology is good enough to dig up the Qin tomb without affecting anything inside it negatively

Wtf is an islamist? Do you mean muslim? When and why did neo-cons start using this moronic term? Islam is the religion, Muslims are the followers of that religion. I don't get it

An islamist is a follower of islamism you braindamaged turd.
Islamism is a political ideology based on the religion.

            That's not a real thing
Islamism is just something you and a bunch of other neocons made up. "Islamists" are muslims following Islam. Islamist would mean a follow of Islam according to etymology. We already have a name for those people: Muslims

literal pea-brained subhuman take, Islamism exists, the spreading of Islam through war, missionary work and deception is intrinsic to the religion and has been since the flight of Mohammed to Medina

Hitler: Come to power because junkers wanted to not go to jail for their embezzlement scheme. (Look up Osthilfe.)

Name some of the rich Germans that funded hitlers rise to power. Go on. Even the ones you morons were using in the 70s have been completely disproven. Pretty much no rich capitalists supported Hitler until it was abundantly clear he was going to rise to power and were attempting to gain favor with him.

Mao was the least evil of the commie leaders and I’m tired of pretending he was. Failing at your genuine attempts at creating a better society doesn’t make you evil or a villain. Killing people for wearing glasses (pol pot) or mass murdering all the doctors which lead to your own demise (Stalin) is actually evil and moronic.

        >Killing people for wearing glasses (pol pot)
        Enough with this anti-revolutionary libel.
Angkar did not promulgate a directive that actually said glasses-wearing people had to be executed, it was something born out of the initiative of local camp leaders.

A lot of anti-revolutionary individuals were executed, that is true, but it was because of their clear inability to conform to the new egalitarian society

Mass executions before and after April 17 certainly occurred, they certainly didn't end up killing as many as 25% of the country.

Brother Number One didn't have a harem, he had two wives at different times in his lives.

He did not die of old age, it is well known that he either killed himself or was poisoned (we cannot know because his corpse was cremated shortly afterwards).

People still pray to the place in Anlong Veng where his ashes are resting, by the way.

Pic related, gives some badly needed context for the "Cambodian genocide"

I'm disgusted by this man but I cannot help but think that he and his legalist ideology is extremely impressive

Legalism gets a bad rap from the Confucians, but wasn't just, "the Emperor makes laws and is allowed to kill as many people as he wants to enforce those".
Realistically, Legalism can be summed up as, "How do you create a stable government and strong military, while also accepting that literally everyone is untrustworthy and will try and cheat the system for their own ambitions?"
It also has some interesting views of history, where any kind of appeal to the past is rejected by a mix of -
      >A.) History is written by liars and cheats and can't be relied on or trusted.
      >B.) There are thousands of different 'ideal states' people can point to and bicker about emulating that all are totally contradictory to one another, so the only choice is to find something new to end the arguments.
      >C.) Governments and philosophies exist based on very specific contexts and require total overhauls in response to those changing contexts, and any significant change in society from a former era requires a total remake.
Which I didn't expect the see the first time I looked into the ideology more deeply.

        >Realistically, Legalism can be summed up as, "How do you create a stable government and strong military, while also accepting that literally everyone is untrustworthy and will try and cheat the system for their own ambitions?"
Turns out "by maximizing negative repercussions and punishments for even minor misbehaviors" wasn't the answer, who would have thunk.

Qin didn't really do that, though.
He was brutal if need be, but he wasn't an irrational martinet. And didn't punish failures with pointless violence.

            >foundational myth
First, that was with Qin's son. Second, foundational myths are always propaganda.
