One-click installer, start program, new "Hello World" project, click Build and Run and voila!
      That's it.
I once compiled libjpeg and libpng (and zlib) with CB, basically creating a project file alongside the makefile.
For actual source code editing, I just open what needs editing with Notepad++, I don't really need code-analysis-autocompletion, and if I do, I just use CB.

*Also one of the only true good FOSS solutions for Windows.
Michaelsoft's "Studio" bullshit always tries to make things as Windows-native as possible and would never voluntarily make things run and work as everywhere and as fast as possible, at least that is what they should be doing as an evil megacorporation, and so even if they aren't doing it now, you should never use it, because the day will come.
On Linux, where you can get developer libraries just by using apt, it's something else entirely, sure.

Ok let me explain. You see this as a male brain. You need to understand females.

Their brain isnt motivated by curiosity, they dont feel proud when they accomplish something trough hard work. They see connections between people, and they know how to extract resources from them by carefully navigating social structures.

A woman will feel the same sense of accomplishment by getting a man do her work and submitting it as hers. A man will feel like a fraud, or if psychopatic will feel like he has power over others.

So going back to the why of that photo.
Because she found a social structure that provides significal opportunities to extract resources
She is navigating it the best way she could find, to her making a cool project is worthless, because it doesnt help her achieve any of her goals. A simple picture is enough, its a call, not a mating call, a call to grab a place in the social structure she set her eyes on.

At work we use an expensive commercial IDE for C/C++ which suck ass.
Normally I prefer using Vim + a few plugins. But lately I'm too lazy to even customize things too much and just run straight Vim.

CLion is probably the only moron proof IDE that doesn't completely suck.
that being said, if you are a true chad, you'd know that clangd is basically the backing to all these non-M$ IDEs and most editors have some LSP engine, like emacs, neovim, helix, even vscodium.

said it's the most moron proof C/C++ IDE (although configuring cmake projects is kinda ass but still better than visual studio) at the cost of JVM bloat

Having an editor that is 100% customized to your liking with any plugins, indicators, and keyboard (or mouse) shortcuts that are perfectly optimized for your workflow while being blazing fast and using very little system resources

just do yourself a favor and get through the week it takes to get used to vim / neovim.

if youre a sadist and on wangblows then yeah I guess use vscode, but you still need a compiler, debugger, make, lint, etc. which probably come in the C/C++ main and extension package within vscode, but who knows.

but again why fricking bother. just use bsd/mac/linux and vim/emacs which is 90% of what you'll see anyone writng C on.
