They are running out of training data for their AIs, which is the real reason for Recall. Of course they claim it's all jsut happening locallym but it's a huge resource hog, so after a while they'll offer option of the service happening in the cloud, a little later they'll tell you they'll use the data to train AIs(anonymized of course so what harm is done there haha) and then Recall will fulfill the purpose it was intended from the very start.

The problem is that we don't know how the future will become. What is normality today might become unforgivable in the land of tomorrow. This will only get worse with promising longevity research.
But you might just need some indoctrination and perhaps a full cleanse, to be allowed to exist in that future.

Crime isn't the only reason a person might want privacy. For example, what if you had some great idea with the potential to make you rich? You start planning out things in documents on your computer, maybe even create some digital assets for it if it is of a digital nature, and then Microsoft's AI has first dibs on it just because you're using Windows? What do companies with trade secrets think of all this shit? Can we watch Microsoft and other tech companies in the same way they watch us, with feeds of what's going on on their computers all day? I mean, they've got nothing to hide, right? If they're going to push this whole post-privacy thing, they should be all in and put everything they have out there as well. Hell, let everybody see everyone else's computers while we're at it, and see how long people tolerate this shit.

If you watch yourself through the lens of microsoft, your confidence would be crushed, and it wont take too long before you can not ever become anything more than a irrelevant fly to them - with coming AI advancement.
Just take some drugs and relax... Pod life is coming.

And his conversations, emails, voice messages, photos, videos, bank statements, everything. And why are politicians so secretive and paranoid? Why did they kill this woman:
      >Daphne Anne Caruana Galizia (née Vella; 26 August 1964 – 16 October 2017) was a Maltese writer, journalist, blogger and anti-corruption activist, who reported on political events in Malta and was known internationally for her investigation of the Panama Papers, and subsequent assassination by car bomb.
