      >sensitive depictions of homosexuality
Aren't most of her gay characters pederasts?

morons have convinced themselves that the Greeks didn’t actually practice homosexuality in any capacity because it contradicts their worldview

            >The Greeks
Actually practiced many different thing depending on what city-state, or general leadership either politically or culturally. That’s why thought and art was so varied among the Greeks from lack of unity and/or uniformity besides being the same Hellenic race. So whatever example you might give of a homophobic Greek law, action, person; you can find 5 Greek laws, actions, and persons who acted out or promoted homosexuality.

Dude, shut the frick up with this meme. Ancient Greece and Rome were not just a giant homosex orgy. That's literally only what homosexuals, lesbians, and troonylarpers want everyone to think. Scholars NEVER paint it that way EVER.

KYS homosexual, and quit peddling your dumb lesbian fanfictions.

Most women do in a weird way. When I read a e-comic about some men hanging out by a female author and quickly advanced into a gay love story years ago was the first I knew it tickled girls fancy.

I read Funeral Games when I was on my Alexander the Great kick earlier this year. It was good but too short. I’m going to be reading more of the sources (Arrian and Diodorus Siculus mostly) in the coming year.

What’s with lesbians who dislike women and idolize gay men?

Renault was a lesbian? Also, probably just a women thing in general. It’s kinda sick/weird how many women either put men on a pedestal compared to women in their writing or just write about gay guys.

I don't know about Yourcenar, but Renault hated her mom, who wanted to turn her into a feminine housewife, and seems to have started to hate femininity because of this. She loved masculine gay (male) couples, but disregarded effeminate gays, because they perform femininity.

Yeah, she lived with her female partner for decades.

Interesting she was a lesbo considering that fact. Also:

Based, but to be expected for a classy fujo.

Just the face, facial expression and eyes alone you can tell that she has annoying, obnoxious persona.
Wouldn't be surprised if she had leftist views too.

So what happened was I read about a third of the first book a few months ago but got distracted by YouTube and video games (again), but from what I remember the historical detail was very immersive. Either way I need to go back and refresh, its been too long and my brain is mush.
