Install any missing drivers and software required for my hardware (nvidia geforce experience, steelseries, logitech g-hub).

Then install + login with Chrome, Steam, install some games I feel like playing, and play them.

On my dev machine also install Chrome, install IDEs, pimp my terminal with omz and p10k like a productive normie, set up git and gpg, and get coding.

If it's purely for games, why not use Proton?

Windows works just fine and ensures optimal support for my games. Also I tend to play some games which don't work on Proton due to kernel anti-cheats (eg Destiny 2), or are buggy as frick on Proton (eg The Agnietta) no matter what I do.

Can you export vs code settings/extensions from one machine to another?

            Anonymous

For the settings there's an export/import feature.
I think the extensions have to be reinstalled manually though.

            ubuntu mate.

            Nice
