The purpose of life is to life. What you're doing right now, is fullfilling lifes purpose. You might claim thats an unsatisfying answer, I say your expectations have been ruined by grandiose promises handed to you by Abrahamists and their illusions of some afterlife or reward when life is over, when in reality life itself was the reward, and you were fooled into squandering it. NTA but "To Experience God" is a complete non-answer, how did you expect him to fill in the blanks?

By suggesting to torture himself. Obviously.
Jokes aside, each will fill in the blanks based on their own understanding of God. I could not have reasonably foreseen that OP's best understanding is "God means dying in Palestine". And to be honest, I am still hoping this is just an under-developed psychological defense mechanism rather than his actual insight.

So in other words, your answer to OP is just "Life is what you make of it" but you suffer from Christian brain so you had to interject some nebulous answer about God instead.

No idea where you saw "life is what you make of it". If you make something of it without God, it's nothing at all.

            False.
As I said, each will fill in the blanks based on their own understanding of God. If you have none, I'm fine with you not making sense of it.

            >If you make something of it without God, it's nothing at all.
So your actual answer to OP is the purpose of life is to worship God. Why not just say that instead of beating around the bush?

Because it's not the final answer. The purpose of worshipping God is experiencing God. To say "worship" would be precisely the beating around the bush.

        >Elaborate.
The purpose of life hasn't appeared yet, we are in its shadow. A chaotic attractor existing in a future point, reflected backwards into time, pulls us at increasing speed towards itself. When we reach it, all pretense at apprehension will collapse at infinite speed.
Thus, we haven't yet seen a glimpse of the purpose of life, the point at the end of time and space, but we're being pulled towards it, in its shadow.

Nothing without a purpose must exist.

I don't know. Maybe you lead an enjoyable life. Since you are on IQfy I can assume you are a midwit neurotic type (like myself) and you are doing poorly academically and definitely socially, and probably financially. Maybe work on these and don't get wrapped up too much into politics and religion.

            >academically
            >financially
The opposite, am a doctor, even am publishing a paper now.
            >politics and religion
The question is tied to neither topic.

            Then answer yourself.

            >Nothing without a purpose must exist.
A purpose implies there must be something we need to fullfill or accomplish first before life has any value, but have you stopped to consider life already has value just by virtue of it simply being here? Life as it is, doesn't need a purpose, its already an incredible miracle that we're alive to begin with. The idea that we were put here by some creator just to fullfill a purpose actually cheapens the value of life moreso than it raises it.

            >its already an incredible miracle
            No.
            >idea that we were put here by some creator

            >THE PURPOSE OF LIFE HASN'T APPEARED YET
So when you can't see something, it doesn't exist? A water droplet moving down a basin, because it isn't at the bottom yet, might suddenly whiz up through the stratosphere instead of move down into the bowl?
The purpose of life, the philospher's stone, the UFO saucer, the very last thing that will ever be, we are in its shadow, so our readout of it is very limited. But when we reach it, all life will be redeemed. It's the promise of the West and the East, fulfilled and defied at once.

Well what do you mean by purpose? Intuitively I don't get the sense that there is anything you can call a 'purpose' so I'm not sure why people talk about it as if it were a valid thing that could possibly exist
That said I am forced to accept that since God obviously exists, God created us for a purpose, a reason for our existence
What that purpose is I don't know but does it change anything knowing that we have a purpose? I don't know if it does
