Not true. People actually get stalked, identified and harassed without themselves being on the internet nowadays. Those days are well over.

Corporations and government agencies literally use their spyware to merely troll people nowadays. Either for lulz or for money or simply because they want them dead (they're a problem to their interests).
IQfy trollz are nothing on corporate agents paid to harass and bully people online AND offline (indirectly online through the people connected to them offline).
Corporate and administrative trolls are literally murdering people nowadays.
The CIA has been doing it for decades. It's literally their job. It's been this way since Vietnam arguably.

It's not real, just close the lid homie.

You have to have the discipline to leave all social media and keep a very tight circle of family and friends. Use the option to download all the data socials keep om you and delete the accounts. Change your mobile number and give the number only to trusted members of your close circle of wanted family and friends. Do not message them the new number. The easier it is for someone to share that information, the more likely the dissemination. It's easier to forward a message than go to the perceived embuggerance of going into contacts and sharing a number from there. Give the number verbally, face to face to the person you can trust and watch them enter the new number into their phones. Keep a record of who you gave your new number to. I have two lines, one for work & acquaintances and the main line for close contacts. You have to learn to let go, forget about the local scene of "who's doing what and where" and not give a shit. It's hard but doable.

plus come on, you can see all manner of im/b/ecile here that will rag on you for no reason just so you'll be a little pussy and frick off to his amusement - in other words, don't give the infantile moron what he wants, that's why you have to tell him off instead, feel free to use copypastas to this end if you need to (you at least have seen the hilarious navy seal copypasta, no? use it as a replay)

You rock. Literally had the same idea for recreational programming endevaours. Did you implement the tcp stack and http(s) client by yourself? How did you bypass the cloudflare? I guess by proxying the http requests to offload the tls handling?

it uses stb_image for the image decoding, with HolyC bindings, and uses built-in routines to convert to 16 colors, eventually I might add options for dithering algorithms

I fortunately didn't experience it in high school myself (everyone used e-mail back then, though there was a bit of MSN Messenger involved as well), but I did experience the rise of it in college. Group projects and other student cooperation leads to online communication, which is all on centralized accounts nowadays. At my workplace we use Discord for communication and you're expected to at least have it open during worktime (but non-work-related stuff also gets discussed there).
