When I find my code in tons of trouble
Friends and colleagues come to me
Speaking words of wisdom
Write in C

As the deadline fast approaches
And bugs are all that I can see
Somewhere someone whispers
Write in C

Write in C,
Write in C
Write in C,
Write in C

Lisp is dead and buried
Write in C

I used to write a lot of Python
For science it worked flawlessly
Try using it for graphics
Write in C

If you spent nearly 30 hours
Debugging some JavaScript
Soon you'll be glad to
Write in C

Write in C,
Write in C
Write in C, yeah
Write in C

Only wimps use Java
Write in C

C# won't quite cut it
Write in C

Write in C,
Write in C
Write in C,
Write in C

Don't even mention Haskell
Write in C

And when the screen is fuzzing
And the editor is bugging me
I'm sick of high-level abstractions
Write in C

on what planet would a baby-tier interpreted language be harder to debug than C?

I bet those are both your posts. Though calling them "posts" is a bit generous, it's like a mental burp of a drug addict.

I wrote a PDF parser in C, very comfy. But then it came the time to actually manipulate the objects I parsed to do something useful with the PDFs. That sucked and I abandoned the project. Manual memory management filtered me, I had leaks all over the place, so I didn't want to continue

    Edit: spelling

C programmers are passionate and don't need girl socks for coding. We wrote the modern world, while you corrupt it.

        >and don't need girl socks for coding.
That meme originated with the K&R C book.
        >We wrote the modern world, while you corrupt it.
C is the corruption. The "original" version of that song said OLD BAD. "You must rewrite everything in C because old languages are dead and C is the future." Now that C is "old" it's NEW BAD. C shills say whatever they think will promote C better. Even in the same threads they say completely opposite things to different people.
