turd worlder's choice. because we get it, you dont have much choice other than ikea slop. pretty much every country have ikea (even india, believe it or not). imagine if herman miller or steelcase ships to india (they dont).

Most headrests suck, even on premium chairs, and for ergonomic reasons - because they force your neck into a certain position.

If you're insistent on getting a headrest, get a Steelcase Leap V2 WITHOUT the headrest (should be S tier on that list), then buy the headrest for the Herman Miller Aeron separately and attach it. Perfect chair.

Bought a steelcase gesture, I was not impressed. It was rather uncomfortable after sitting in it for 4 hours with hourly stand ups (no I'm not a lardass). And that's their most expensive chair I believe. Returned it the same week. Headrest was nice though. I'm enjoying my Markus chair. OPs list is full of shit.

what I hate about desk chairs is the armwrest width. look, im not FAT. my body doesnt extend across my chest 40 inches. most armwrests are way to wide apart for you to sit down and naturally sit your arms striaght down .. and before you homosexuals start b***hing or being dumb fricks, i use tenkeyless keyboards so my hands can sit comfortably straight in front of me with my hands straight down instead of trying to spread my arms out like a Black person or something doing my ape scratching poses. but, the fricking chairs have too wide of a armwrest length. its uncomfortable as all hell when i go to lay my arms down to my sides in a chair and to attemp tto set them straight on armwrests, then find out they are on the edges towards me on both sides, then have to spread my elbows out to sit on them, then try lifting yourself up at an angle with your elbows at that angle. IT FRICKING HURTS. SHITHEADS, MAKE DESK CHAIRS FOR NORMAL PEOPLE

But these chairs like Steelcase do have armrests to adjust inward.

looks like what I'll have to do since 2005 walmarts not sold those completely adjustable chairs for 25$ anymore. last chair.. i had that was comfortable. except this one i bought recently. but its still a hair too far out. but moslty its their. i would hope hte steelcases would be far enough in to not be that hair close. thats what i dont like is that risk. ill have to find a store so i could try one out before spending that kind of money just to try it.
ive purchased, sometimes returned, about 8 different chairs in the past 7 or 8 years, trying to find something comfortable and ALL I ASK is a little bit more of less armwrest spread cause i and many other people arent fatasses. literally if i set my arms were they should sit smack in the middle of my chair my arms shoulders are not comfortable. what they think its gonna dig into my fat? in the current chair im sitting in, (have 2 in my room) the arms are minimum 21inches apart. 21 fricking inches, thats almost 2 feet. my shoulders from the middle apart are 15 fricking inches.

Mine go from 20" apart to 16" apart. That's edge to edge, not middle to middle. That's also keeping them straight forward to back. If you rotate the front inwards like that image, the corners are 12" apart.

            HOLY FRICK GOD DAMN WTH.
seriuosly? this has to be something chair makers are doing on purpose to cripple people to get them to see a doctor. l I never had these problems before. (fatass) excuses to make shit made chairs, load of bs. most people are not fat. ridiculous for them to do that and its been like this have not been able to find a chair for 15 years or more worth a shit. i didnt pay attention at first and stuck with whatever i had but when I got 30 something i had to find something good. and havent been able to been looking since.
the 2 chairs i have one is 25" middle to middle but has wider armwrests and the other is 21" and its at the minumum width is adjustable just not enough but like its hair too shorti measured my elbows near my sides and there like 19"

fricking yes man, plus going to a clothing store and you're forced to buy a pair of trousers/jeans that are 2 inches too big around the waist because your perfect size isn't available because most people are fat fricks and so they don't stock enough of our size.

I've had a secret labs omega for the past 5 years or so. Still the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in, by far. It looks good and isn't a hurr gaymer chair, although I think others like the Haworth Fern look better. I can't imagine them being more comfortable though.

      Unironically this.
I used to have a really cheap and nasty chair with shit back support, which slowly fricked my back.
I took off the back support and kept the base exactly as you have in picrel.
Few weeks later back was fine again.

and im not a heavy guy, 75kg, i can only imagine what someone who is heavier must feel in those

it's the same with all of their furniture, you're either pretty happy that you got it for cheap and the assembly was piss easy or you hate it because you broke it with your fat ass
the ham fists probably don't help with assembly either
