Try to eat mostly bread and cereals, with no New World vegetables.

Obviously modern food which is why God thinks I should have to eat what medieval people ate instead of modern food because he thinks I'm a peasant who doesn't deserve nice things and that modern food is "too good for me" and "the best food in the world"

Modern processed food is safer, tastier, arguably more nutritive if you are poor.
Your average peasant would eat meat once a week maybe
Or buy some rotten meat at some market.

they would eat fish regularly which is healthier than red meat. Fish wasn't considered "meat" in the middle ages.

medieval people drank lots of beer, which is filled with sugar. they had grit in their bread from the milling process, they had Ergot in all their corn that turned them mad.

they turned all their fruit into cider so they didn't even get the health benefits. they didn't even have nuggets.

in conclusion medieval people had fricked up teeth, fricked up mental health and probably had scurvy.

Modern food is fine as long as you exercise regularly, which most americans are too lazy to do.

      This.

Bodybuilders can eat fast food junk and still stay in tip top shape due their strenuous exercise. Obviously you don't need to workout as much as them, but it proves the point that it's not the food making people fat, but rather their life choices.

    >Misconstrued Arguments
Medieval is far superior, it is only seen as a lesser since the food wasn't as abundance as it is today, yet, food today is only abundant because of the chemical process we take to modify modern food. Therefore, to only have an abundance of food is to modify it or else you'd never have that abundance of food. Furthermore, are we going to take into consideration that the processed food is used more by lower class individuals as a way to continue the maintain their energy levels so that they can reproduce and aid the machine? Fuel for the car? What's the scope here?

You don't even know in what ways modern food is even modified. And everything is made of chemicals you dumbass.

post something supported by real data? Also most people dont eat fast food most meals even that often. The question should be something like, how does prepackeged rice dishes, and porkchops, with canned green beans compare. With the amount on offer probably far better. I mean we know what a like a 16th century peasant ate, if it was so good it would have become a fad diet by now.

A medieval gentleman's diet would be better, a medieval peasant's by comparison would be a mixed bag. Eating overprocessed food every day might slowly kill you but you do still get ingredients that would be rare to a medieval man for cheap like salt, beef, cheese etc. Pick your poison.

Medieval peasantry ate a shitton pickled and salted meats, burnt shit, poorly cooked stuff and/or things in bad state

And their main source of nutrition was just bread and local vegetables

You would get a quite deficient diet as a medieval peasant.

Enough to push on but hardly to be fit.

Currently you have other problems like fats and carcirogen shit like pesticides in food but thats about it (btw consider back then pesticides were not a thing fruit, vegetables and so on were FULL of bugs, worms and parasites, if you own a fruit tree you will know that unless you put pesticides in them each single fruit will have a worm crawling inside) so you would need to cook quite well your stuff including fruits to not get parasites and shit yourself.
Same with milk and dairy derived products which were not regulated in any way nor had their active principles known so you might get a cheese with a incorrect toxic fungi or microrganism that would frick you all over let alone parasites and bugz carried in non-pasteurized milk

      >parasites and bugz carried in non-pasteurized milk
I regularly drink unpasteurised milk and I'm fine. Also not all fruit has worms, and there are virtually no fruits or vegetables that carry parasites dangerous to humans. You speak like city dweller.

        >I regularly drink unpasteurised milk and I'm fine
Anecdotical experience is not an evidence and modern cows are vaccinated and often treated against parasites.
A thing not done in the middle ages. Other thing that was never done is refrigerating food. Because they had no refrigeration.
        >Also not all fruit has worms
Almost all fruit has worms because they lay eggs in the flowers before the fruit starts forming. Many others just lay them afterwards.
Many fruits like figs have an entire lifecycle simbiotic with wasp worms.

        You speak like an indian

          >Almost all fruit has worms because they lay eggs in the flowers before the fruit starts forming.
Over the years I've cultivated apples, pears, nuts, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, plums, squashes, zucchini, potatoes, carrots and various salads. All without pesticides. Except for the salad, which the snails always get to, I've never had a problem with worms or bugs. Of course there's the occasional worm in an apple, but it's far from "each single fruit".
You are of course right about milk being potentially unsafe (although no as dangerous as you make it out to be). But peasants rarely drank raw milk in huge quantities. Most of the milk was made into butter, which was then used to add fat and calories to various dishes. A popular peasant's breakfast up until the 1940s was just flour, water and butter cooked in a pan, topped with even more butter. Alternatively you could use lard. Sounds bad, the flour was of much higher nutritional value back then, which makes it at least a little bit better.

moron argument. Use the conveniences of the modern era to eat healthy, you'll eat what medieval peasants could only dream of. The only reason why people don't is because they're poor, lazy or don't have the time.

according to movies i've seen, all medieval people had was loave of bread and water with organism in it. so yeah i'd take a big mac.
