That's like telling pros that do expectation defying stunts with bikes that they have to use a 4 welled noob bike for perpetuity from now on.
Yea you fall a few times and the chain might drop but when you perform in face of everyone all that is already handled and fixed by then.

Professionals don't commute on their stunt bikes, and they definitely don't do bike stunts on the way to the bathroom every time they need to shit
The policy, and the DOD report it's based on, discuss scoped exceptions to memory safety, ie. using the stunt bike when you actually need it and not when you're just making coffee

Let me try to open your mind in another way.
Would you rather go watch a disabled troony go from point a to point be on such a bike? Or would you go to an XTREME stunt show where a stunt guy would back-flip on his bike above and endless cliff?

Which one emanates from communist ideology and which one is based on economic reality?

          >Would you rather go watch a disabled troony go from point a to point be on such a bike?
This is what C is like. C programmers have trouble counting numbers and staying inside array bounds.

          >Or would you go to an XTREME stunt show where a stunt guy would back-flip on his bike above and endless cliff?
This is what Rust is like. Rust is what you use when C++ is not enough for what you are doing.

      >That's like telling pros that do expectation defying stunts with bikes
Those are the people who want to use Rust. Rust is for the C++ experts who know enough about C++ to know what's wrong with it and want something better. Rust is like the expert stunt bike. If you're riding your bike in the park, you probably won't even understand why a stunt bike is better for stunts than the bike you have.

      >that they have to use a 4 welled noob bike for perpetuity from now on.
That's what going from Rust to C feels like.
