Someone who understood the importance of law and order. Westerners, Christian or Atheist, need to understand that the foundations of their civilization is built on a religious liminality which must be supplemented with order. The Catholic Church was that order, very strong and Roman, but it began to crack and many have fallen away in the past five centuries. Islam follows the same kind of legalistic strictness as the Torah and everyone knows exactly what they are supposed to do and not do.

This is why it's a terrible religion.
Law and order is the lesser evil. It's not holy and by making the religion so legalistic you're denying people the freewill to sin or be virtuous without punishment or reward.
Abrahamic religions in general make very little sense but are good at managing societies

You're right, but religion and law should be separate

The more I've spoken with Muslims and seen them post on this website, the more I realize that it's a a religion for zombies.

You'd have to be to believe the dogmata of Islam. Allah is still real though.

What exactly do you mean by this? Is it just deism, or are you saying that the god who allegedly delivered an entire book telling people how to behave (which says you should listen to guy delivering it for further instructions) is real?
If it's the latter, are you saying being a zombie is a good thing?

If you think that's a bad thing, I think you put too much faith in the average human not to destroy themselves given license. It is better for them to have a particular place in a hierarchy and never ask questions. Just follow commands and live and die and that's it.

You put too much faith in hierarchy. History proves hierarchy is full of morons. All muslims lie, islamic scholars more than most.

I see very little difference between YHWH as known by the Shasu and Allah of Islam.

Only because they fear punishment, then they go to the West and become criminals there because they don't actually believe in morality. Even in muslim societies they do haram things if they believe no one can see them.

That's my point. Imagine how worse the Middle East would be if they were like the West.

The "West" isn't Christian, as much as the middle-east is muslim.

The West very much is Christian. Do you think Christianity is just about going to church and letting some homosexual preach to you about a israelite after he swings a thurible over a piece of bread? No, it is the very fabric of Western morality.

Law and enforcement has a role.
If you make it a goal in of itself, just to dominate your citizens, thats not law or ethics, thats you being a degenerate homosexual who craves some daddy to punish him, and call him scum who deserves it.

Why? Legal positivism never made sense to me.

Because you can abuse the frick out of law if you can just hide behind

A deity who is concerned with justice is going to be focused on justice and that's about it. I understand your claim about separating religion from the law, but the truth is that most people are religious and it does not make sense to make laws that contradict your morality, since that would be immoral. If you believe that your form of morality is the objective morality, then everyone should practice it.
