That's what the average Roman was since like 100 BC, genetics confirms. It's more interesting if such people were mostly bilingual, fully assimilated, or preferred to speak Greek?

I think north Italian were clustering with Iberians like all others non-greek Italics. So far I think only the Picenes are clustering with modern north Italians. North Italian today are already very close to Iberians today they just have less whg and more steppe

Suetonius wasn't Berber. Berberist are editing wikipedia. He was born in Italy, likely in Rome.

Featured article in russian wiki says Suetonius was most likely from Pesaro, so he was Picenian (north italian)

No, the Cisalpine Celts resemble modern northern Italians. The rest of the Italics vary some of them are Thraco-Illyrian, Greek, Corsican, etc.

Where do you get this from? The Messapic maybe? Anyway Italians between Tuscany and Naples (roughly) were Catalan-like genetically.

I'm reading the translated version and they say his birthplace is unknown but pesaro is indeed the most likely candidate.

    Caesar
    Cicero
    Sallust
    Pictor
    Terence
    Plautus
    Ennius
    Livius Andronicus
    Symmachus
    Claudian
And so on. There are plenty of Central Italian writers
Not to mention much of Northern Italy was not Celtic, Livy came from an native Italian town. Same goes for most of Southern Italy, Velleius Paterculus was a Campanian, which were native Italians.

Good observation. People forget it but Caesar was literally a historian.
Which make me think these people have no interest in history but only seek to we wuz what they can or partake in some IQfy-like shitfest eg central italic were warlike moron because they clustered with iberians
