He literally declared that suicide is an assurance of life. Despite of what you tell yourself, the fact that you are still alive indicates that your existence is valuable. you fricking moron

Do these two sentences have the same meaning for you?

        >when did IQfy start thinking like this?
Nietzsche explicitly lived and preached a life-affirming outlook but I guess you don't know this since you've never read him.

C.S Lewis says you should die before you die tho? Read Till We Have Faces

You know what that's actually true, or rather, it is inevitable, but only if you pay attention. But there's only one death that kill all possible (you)s.
        Not reading that book though.

Im just not sure if this is true. Being a great artist necessitates some degree of abnormality, but what’s more notable is how few artists of merit commit suicide. Hart Crane, Hemingway, Mishima (and that wasn’t a suicide of despair). There’s not many. Compare this to the practitioners of rock n roll which is inherently self-destructive

    >can't help but parse every sound, sight, and texture of your life as detail to make fiction more realistic
    >interpersonal interactions and current events reduced to theme and plot
    >this habit of relentless analysis creates barrier between you and reality
    >technical understanding renders escape into fiction almost impossible
After a decade or so of this, pulling the trigger is just a formality.

Beckett was a moper and a pussy. His life wasn't even that bad.

How many of them actually killed themselves?
Writing about suicide is not the same as actually doing it, or attempting it. The truth is that every human being have thought about suicide at some point in their lives, it's part of the human experience, hence that's what writers are writing about.

Truly great writing beyond genre fiction requires you to be high iq and deep in your own head

Both of these things lead to poor socialisation and higher rates of depression. Thus suicide

Socialization has nothing to do with it. Why do normie morons think that every mental problem can be solved by socialization? Have you homosexuals ever wondered whether some people are just not born to function in a social situation, these kinds of people are usually the best observers which makes them the best artists.

This, and also "socialization" and friendship are very different things. Socialization can be the fakest and most soul-sucking thing in the world, hanging out in big groups and trying not frick up by accidentally acting genuine. Your goal should be to form real relationships with reasonably compatible people who you share respect with.

You'd have to have something severely wrong with you to not constantly think about death.

Ok I will try to help you get this in a way you will understand. You prob had to interact with some special needs kids in school growing up right? A moron has an IQ that is about 3 standard deviations below the average. Now imagine you have a brain so big that you can clearly understand the world and concisely explain it to other people. This makes living in a world full of average people like if you were an average person living in a world full of morons. Except unlike morons who are God's special gifts that are incapable of evil or what they think is complex scheming your average moronic normie is both viciously selfish and incredibly stupid and self-defeating in applying that selfishness to appease the short-term at the expense of everything else. Imagine you have to live with these belligerent morons every day while they drag the world around you further into their idiocy. Imagine almost every interaction you have being a taxing burden dealing with midwits who refuse to better their minds at best and total window-lickers at worst who talk about mind numbingly stupid shit like sportsball and social media influencers. If you are smart and do not seriously consider suicide at least once in this world you are not anywhere near as smart as you think your are.
