Why did white people dominate the world??

Why were white people acting as lawgivers for far-flung tribes and not say, the blacks or the indians?

Better availability of natural resources, tighter-knit trade routes, and a willingness to embrace change.

More fragmentation into individual states than in other areas of the world which encouraged the development of international trade routes and better sailing ships.

Ultimately, because of the over expansion of the Roman Empire and the Germanic invasions of Late Antiquity. Unlike China, which tended to meld back together every few centuries or so, Europe never did.

Centuries worth of events that were necessary to such a revolution occurring
Which is why the ancient Romans never could have had it even with their primitive steam toys

Well ignore white then and let's talk "European"
Although classifying south europeans as non-white is kind of a self own for white people

What the frick kind of map is that supposed to be? Why are parts of Japan in red?

Kek you're right, very strange. I think maybe the map creator thought the 1582 Cagayan battles happened in Japan.
Lots of mistakes now I look at it

The spanish and portuguese spread diseases to people who were bronze age tier and lost to pretty much anyone else, also they aren't white, and the map is wrong, having some trading post doesn't mean you own any land let alone the whole coastline of Africa, arabia, India, persia, South East Asia and Japan

For the picture below the only important and impressive gain was in India

      The Industrial Revolution, primarily.

European hegemony started well before the industtial revolution

Not really. Steamrolling peoples who were already badly weakened by newly introduced diseases also isn't "hegemony," especially since up until the Napoleonic Wars Berbers were still raiding Europe for slaves.

Just because there were Berber pirates doesn't mean Europe wasn't dominating the world.

If the Berbers are raiding your core territories for slaves then that doesn't mean you were dominating the world.

            >core territories of Iceland and Spain
            L O L
so Europeans dominated the world despite having their core territories raided? must be their demonstrably proven
            >higher IQ
            >greater musculature
            >self evident creativity
            >pro-social behavior

Mid 18th century is generally accepted as a start date for the Industrial Revolution and, besides that, Britain already had the manufacturing base to smith a large amount of firearms.

Weird thing about this period is it isn't the first time Europeans were rulling over foreigners . Most people point to the crusades as Europeans first attempt at colonization but if they were being smart I would point to the Hellenistic era.
