Why do retarded Christians turn to solipsist arguments when it suits them?

>I don’t see any evidence for go-
>”DUDE how can you say that if you don’t know your eyes are real!”
This argument reeks of desperation. No one takes solipsists seriously, and rightly so. Why do Christians use it when they would laugh their asses of if someone asked the very same questions to them?

      in answer to your question.
      > Why do moronic Christians turn to solipsist arguments when it suits them?
      I didn't.
I just pointed out that YOUR standardard is solopsistic.
You claim to believe in anything which cant be quantified, tested and reviewed (under the scientific method)
      Our senses cannot be quantified
      Cannot be tested
      And cannot be reviewed.
      It is by
      >YOUR.
      >STANDARD.
that we ought reject all knowledge of the material world
      >NOT.
      >MINE.

Not me a presup man but happy to hear why you think i am if you feel like it.

I don’t know how aware all the parrots of the talking point are but it’s actually a pretty sinister attack.
Their goal is to target unintelligent and unstable people to make them question reality in order to implant a high level of anxiety and doubt about their knowledge.

The remedy is offered as Christianity in order to ease the suffering. It’s basically a form of existential gaslighting to abuse you into submission.
They of course never apply their level of absolute skepticism to Christianity, they’re trying to burn a hole in your brain so they can fill it with their religion

      >Their goal is to target unintelligent and unstable people to make them question reality in order to implant a high level of anxiety and doubt about their knowledge.
      No my dude.
My goal is to get people to abandone empericism and embrace rationalism by demonstrating that all we have to go on is the products of our senses and our rational mind.
The REASON this is my goal is we dont have idiotic dollards like Matt Dillahunty running around convincing gullible teenagers that if the Lord Jesus Christ appears in the flesh to you shouldn't believe your senses unless a scientist is there with some instrument to say
      >"Yep!"
      >"Its real!!!"
Dillahunty in truth goes even FURTHER then this asserting no evidence would be good for God as
      >"God isn't a candidate answer"
as we've never encountered anything like him before (which is just fricking absurd, literally EVERYTHING human beings have encountered at one point was unlike anything we had encountered before)
Its a moronic contradictory ideology which EXPLICITLY DOES NOT HOLD UP TO
      >ITS
      >OWN
Standards yets points to the failings of religious claims to fail to hold up to this standard while ignoring all other claims also fail to hold up to this standard as it is an incoherent standard

Empiricism allows you to show other people that something is true which they haven’t personally witnessed. I’m not going to believe you saw some god unless you can prove it.

For real, empiricism is just a methodology. If we have one that produces more reliability, it should be prioritized.

how do you know the "other people" exist other then through your senses dude?

          >We cannot assume that out senses are accurate
          >But we can assume that logic exists
What do you call this brain disorder?

          Not what i'm arguing.
You are the one claiming we have more to go off of then we actually do; I admit the position we are in.

The problem is that you are making the same mistake as the Anglo-empiricists by thinking that the truth of God can be arrived through human thought.

All religions develop to transmit core messages in way that even dumb ignorant people can understand. That's why they're centered on narratives. People might struggle to understand or care about strictly philosophical arguments, but they are very good at processing and internalizing stories, and they can be convinced by stories to accept commands.

Major religions are popular phenomena. It has to be relatively simple to participate in it for it to take any popular hold. There are usually layers of sophistication that only the well-trained or lettered can really engage with, which is job security and stimulation for priestly or educated classes. But the high falutin intellectual exercise isn't really the point of the religion and it certainly isn't the root of it either. Abrahamics probably aren't remarkable in any of these regards, they're just the ones present enough in our lives to annoy.

    I'll explicate Christian larpers.

    1. They're monotheist by attribution of labels but polytheist in reality (the other gods exist and are demons).
    2. They think every persona out there must seek the light of Yeshua.
    3. They believe what they like of the bible and play dumb with what they don't like.
    4. Irreedeemable dualists
    5. No one will go to their heaven because of all the contradicts and myriad churches.

Ive never understood it. I personally find the moral argument or the japan cosmological argument. If people want to admit that morality isn’t real or that there is no real purpose then why care so much about people believing a lie? And if people do believe in morality then believing in a spiritual reality just makes sense. And thinking this spiritual reality is just empty without any mind or authority is odd. People who are atheists just hate the idea of authority or objective justice. And it’s why they are always overrepresented among those who try to push ideas that reality or truth aren’t real.

Morality is easily explained as social ape instinct. Humans obviously have the most advanced and intricate form given we have the highest intelligence of the apes.
You can type all you want, I don’t choose to have a conscience and engage in moral behavior anymore than I choose to drink water when I’m thirsty.
