True, any leader that has a distinct style is viewed negatively in democracy because it would be viewed as trying to seem above the people
Since leaders are considered ideally, if not in reality, servants of the people, there's an expectation that they dress in a non-distinct style

I have books I want to read but I don’t. I have a girlfriend on vacation I want to sext but I won’t. I have a bunch of movies I’d love to see but I’m not. I know I’d enjoy doing any of these things. I have trouble ripping the band aid off and just doing something that will make me happy, instead of wasting all my time on my phone. I don’t know what causes this. Lack of willpower maybe? I get the feeling I’m afraid that once I do these things they’ll have been depleted, and I’ll run out of them. I feel like I’m stretching out the inevitable drying of joy, as if when I enjoy all these things, they will have become dull and disposable, like my mind has had its fill and doesn’t care anymore. As if it’s a song I’ve heard so many times it no longer brings me the joy it once used to. Very paranoid thinking I’m sure.

but anon, how can you say you are gay and also be religious? are you just one of those self-hating gays? not at all anon, not at all. to be sure, historically i have acted on homosexual desires and continue to feel no attraction towards the opposite sex, this is why i still feel it accurate to say i am presently, as i was historically, gay. i'm not proud of what i've done, but that was a part of who i was in the past that lead me to who i am today, and it wouldn't be right to deny that. the best thing i can do now is to generally keep silence of these things, no longer act on such feelings anymore, and instead pursue celibacy and quiet

man must look at things not from his eyes, but
from God above, and it while to him on a personal level some things are "good" i.e. they may feel good, some things are not actually good-as-they-actually-are, such as homosexual behavior. furthermore, wouldn't you agree a very sick person needs a very good doctor? there is no one else that has brought more healing than the Lord himself.

is it self-hatred? in a way, yes, it is hatred of sinful nature, and instead Love of the Lord. now of course conversations such as these make others uncomfortable, but it's discomfort is precisely why it's so important: no, you cannot pray the gay away, but you can instead pray to be closer to God, and away from sinful behavior. it is not reduction nor repression, but redirection and replacement: there are simply those called to go down a less travelled road, for good or bad, with a spouse or without. even if i was not gay, we all struggle with sin. i will spend a lifetime in combat of mine, will you address yours?

Yea so uh, perhaps your first focus should not be sex. Getting a girl is easy but keeping her is the hard part, raunchy sex is indeed not worth it when done with randos who are barely even there mentally to enjoy it. Can't believe I'm saying this bit disavow prostitutes and find your own personal prostitute.

They're not happier than you. You're not missing on anything. No it's not cope. It's the truth. The people you think of are going in and out of relationships, accumulating baggage and resentment and destroying their souls in the process. If you honestly think a woman will bring you lasting joy then you do not understand women. If you enter a relationship with that attitude she'll trample all over you and leave you on the side of the road with your heart broken. As for sleeping around, you will hate yourself even more and turn into a monster. Hold the course and trust in God. Take comfort in that you're not the only fighting this war. And yes it is a war. Expect to be hit by flak from the enemy.

Been trying for a long time. Hasn’t been working. Feel like the clocks ticking.

The normal parts of a relationship are good and therefore pined after ofcourse. They just don't believe having the same gameplan changes things, it must be the other person or it not being the right time or blablabla. Also, once it becomes their nature, to be in relationships, anything else seems off.

If they aren’t attracted to a man who will love them, then are all women prostitutes in your eyes?

            Anonymous

            Anonymous

True love with a woman is ultimately the willingness to lay down one's life for the other. There's a danger in conflating emotional/hormonal highs with love, especially at the start of a relationship. Not saying the feelings are always but you need a great deal of discernment to determine whether it's actual love and not the secular notion of it

I am addicted to video games and porn. Weed too but we don’t count that one. I have tried to quit so many times it’s become worthless to keep count. I have no friends that I can discuss literature with and this site among the others I use to discuss it does not fulfill that need. Every time I try to quit I get so bored that I just eventually end up going back to it. World tension is getting higher. One day soon the shot heard around the world will be fired. Joe Biden is deaf and knows sign language. I had a pretty good Cuban sandwich today. I watched a shitty Netflix show called the watcher that had terrible writing and a godawful ending that I refused to speak about publicly in detail because it makes my girlfriend mad when I comment on the writing of shows as it makes her feel inferior. I would like for there to be a world war very much. I don’t have the $1000 dollars necessary to fix the cavities in my tooth so I am drinking 2 glasses of milk a day and brushing twice daily to at least slow the inevitable decay another year or two. I would like to return to college to finish my degree however I know that the days of high paying STEM jobs will be over in about 5 years. The middle class in America makes a million dollars a year now. I saw a gore video of a cartel victim being hacked to death with machetes before they mercy killed him with an automatic pistol. It sounded like they were shooting in the mud as his brains exploded out of his skull all over the wide leaves of the tropical bushes he was groveling in with his hacked apart limbs. Before they shot him he shielded his head with his arm that wasn’t hanging by tendons at the elbow and cowered in the best fetal position he could muster. Those guys probably killed like eight more people that week without a second thought.

It is videos like those that make me think that perhaps the conquistadors and the catholic church were completely justified. You just...can't deal with people like that any other way. brother tried to kill himself and is now in treatment (for depression presumably). He's on a horse tranquilizer tier prescription and is definitely too zooted out of his mind to acknowledge how direly stressful this shitshow has been on our parents. My dad is two c**t hairs away from booking a one way to ticket to anywhere an ocean away. My mother was joking about running the car into a wall the other day. I confront her about her ideation and she devolves into full blown denial mode. Then 4 hours later she's dumping all her woes and chagrins on me.

I feel like I'm in a nut house. Legitimately. I don't know what concretely defines this experience, since my awareness is not 100% objective. It's infused with cognitive biases and unfit conclusions. I'm thinking in modern terms. My parents would never kill themselves, or intentionally desert each other or us. I wish they fricking would (the latter not the former lmao). They would never commit to living life for themselves although they (naturally) feel compelled to. Hence the bitterness. Behind their immutable inaction is years of cultural indoctrination telling them that one must live for their children and their children only. Hence, we will subsist in this maggot filled hole of mutual hate and misery. It's symbiotic, the way every member of this family dumps on the other. Like a human fricking centipede.

Frankly, if they decide one day to cut us off, or to live for themselves and only for themselves, I would be (perversely) ecstatic for them.

      >brother tried to kill himself and is now in treatment (for depression presumably).
Sounds like absolutely sane, rationally thinking people, let them do what they want. Guess father wants to disappear somewhere and end his life too, which is the best decision anyone with consciousness can make.

I had to be the Baron of Bad News but you should be alerted that YOU are the parent. It's called parentalizing. The sooner you realize you're the mature one everybody instinctively goes to when they "can't take it anymore" and are doing their version of immature lashing out, sheerly by virtue of being the one guy who tries to hold everything together in a crisis, the sooner you will be able to make appropriate arrangements to be managing these fricking morons and their problems for the rest of their life. Here's two tips: 1) Junkies and frickups (no offense to your brother) will almost always betray people in the end and only 1% ever change, and 2) If you have money, hide it, don't let your finances be known to the family, because some day you're going to be financially on the hook for your brother's druggie kids or some shit like that too

Not sure if you've noticed but your parents are doing exactly what your brother did: reserving the right to ruin everybody else's life because they're "at their limit." You're the only designated driver here, the only one thinking about his limits and what it means to stay the course even when you're over your limit etc.

Are your parent's parents alive? If so what is there relationship with them like. Do your parent's have siblings that are around that they have a relationship with? What I'm driving at is what support network do your parents have to fall back on.

cynical point of view, (although I appreciated that my come from their own experiences and observations) this parentalizing may very be the situation age you're in.

My advice is to signpost your parents to whatever support they can get whether it be what I have mentioned above or in lieu of that some professional service so that you don't become burdened with it all. This includes reaching out yourself for you too.

we have found ourselves so far speculating on things, attempting to convince others of our ability to convince. There are a few things that I would like to discuss regarding this current state of affairs in the sphere of debate, firstly the enormous waste of energy that is being spent in the pursuit of arguments for the sake of arguments. Why have we not yet taken it upon ourselves to move towards a goal? A goal of mine is to move beyond speculation for the sake of speculation, research for the sake of research. what is knowledge? knowledge needs a center from which we can apply our knowledge towards, and we have lost this center and found ourselves lost.

let's talk about the concept of addiction as a charge, as a sentencing and as a punishment. having an individual identify themselves as an addict is probably one of the worst possible means of addressing a series of intoxicating experiences. what we have here as a situation is individuals identifying as addicts and therefore sacrificing that which makes them who they are in favor of a categorization of being, a systemizing. addiction is an experience, the word "addict" has teeth, its usage against a person charges them with vitriolic force. we risk the sacrifice of the individuals innocence, we risk the self-identification of the addict as an addict. I have noticed that filling out this charge becomes the task of the person, the proscribed set of behaviors that have connotation with the sentencing becomes duty. I have noticed that what then arises out of this situation is a type of priest, a moral clergy that rules over the "addicted masses" this priest coldly utilizes a theology of guilt, they capitalize on the experience by referring to the trauma an individual may carry and they demand payment as a means of that individual paying their debt to that nostalgic series of events, with a trap involved. firstly the individual is made to feel guilty, if the individual repeats any behaviors now categorized as negative they must burden MORE guilt as a debt. mechanically the individual is reduced to identifying with his condition as a sentencing much like a prisoner, and they are unable to escape this charge. never is that individual allowed freedom again, this priesthood has hegemonic power over this portion of the population demanding ritualized psychological payments of certain types ad infinitum, depending on the method being prescribed by the priests. the function remains the same, practical enslavement to an apparatus of the system thru ideological means.

    aestheticization of the addict

reduction of the self into the category addict

reduction of all behaviors of the addict as addiction

totalization of being within this framework (?)

I wanna say that I'm gonna fix my phimosis this year but who knows if that's true? I might get lazy like I did last year and the year before and just not do it. This is only the second time this year that I've put a ring in even though it should be about the 8th-9th time. I'm never in a position to have sex anyway so it doesn't bother me but it is something that I'd like to deal with just in case I ever do get the chance.

        >What do you mean put a ring in?
If you don't want to get circumcised you can put in rubber rings (similar to what people put in their ears when they stretch them) that will slowly make your foreskin looser. I'm not sure of the exact science behind it but it works.
        >Dude just get clipped
Frick that, I've heard nothing but it being absolute hell for weeks after you get it done. Also, I don't care about sex enough for it to be something that I want done asap, when it happens, it happens.

Don't listen to this anon and mutilate yourself [...]. Be consistent with the rings. Otherwise, look into steroid creams. Don't cut off a part of your body which is there for a reason.

I've thought about looking into steroid creams before but if I'm too lazy to put the rings in consistently then I'll definitely be too lazy to use the cream. The rings seem to work whenever I'm disciplined enough to do it consistently.

I once watched a video of a circumcision. Never again. The shrieks that the baby made were unlike anything I've ever heard. The sheer distress, the torture in his voice... I saw someone once liken it to a video they saw of pigs being boiled alive. To know I was subject to that without a second thought is painful on my best days. I'm proud of you for not suppressing you paternal instincts and desiring to protect your children. Again, better than what happened to me. It's one of the largest/worst crimes being performed in the world right now. It's state-sanctioned organ harvesting (they make anti-aging creams out of it) and no one could care less.

Starve: to suffer severely or die from hunger. You’re a fricking pussy if you think you’re starving by not eating for a couple days. Never heard of autophagy? Your body stores fat for a reason. Once you enter ketosis your body starts burning through the shitty old sick cells and your liver begins to regenerate because it has down time where it isn’t constantly processing food material. Fasting can lead to heightened states of cognition as well due to a flight/fight reaction.

Fasting is appropriate in specific situations.
For example, it could be quite appropriate before a duel with swords. Stomach pain from food sitting poorly in the gut or bowel trouble can make some moves very difficult, after all.
But in general, it's probably better to prepare a proper meal for yourself, even if you only eat a half portion.

eating the proper foods would solve that (cheese for example is fermented so would be good for your gut). humans need food to do anything (ofc)

Early antiquity states were composed of 1% nobility, ruthless owners and oppressors of swathes of slaves. That these nobles wanted to bring their notions of society to utopical perfection makes this fact even more brutal.

      Anonymous

That's not true, that's more late antiquity due to mass slavery to fuel imperialism and bureaucracy. The early norm was basically low level autonomous farmers because of lack of centralization. It's only with huge conquering states like 4th~ century Rome that you start to get things looking like latifundia (massive farms owned by absentee landlords and farmed by armies of slaves), but that took centuries and centuries to happen, grinding down the Roman agrarian middle class in distant wars while the rich bought up all the land in the heartland. This is basically what the Roman revolution was about, because there were laws on the books to protect smallholders but they were ignored. The Gracchi brothers simply wanted existing laws to be enforced.

The first chapter of Brooks Adams, Law of Civilization and Decay may interest you. There's also the Marxist Perry Anderon's book, Passages from Antiquity to Feudalism. I think he focuses more on mass slavery as an established institution. But basically there is good reason to believe that history "defaults" to small-holding farmers (whether arranged into feudal protection rackets or not) whenever empires collapse, just because it's logical. Even feudal Europe maintained traditions of free yeomen in many regions for many centuries.

Athens, during the times of Pericles, had 21 000 citizens, 10 000 domiciliated foreigners, 400 000 slaves.
Greece was more progressive than the nations further South that had preceded it.
The Romans invented slave rights and even ended up with the abolishment of slavery.

Want to travel to Europe, Spain, maybe Morocco, need some fresh air, oh, and Switzerland of course, saw Calame's paintings of Alps in London, never thought those kind of landscapes can be real, but recently watched a yt doc about Swiss Alps, unbelievable, those places are unique, nowhere in the world you can find that kind of warm light and epic landscapes, yet so close to towns and villages. Even though we think of islam as the less tolerant religion between it and christianity when it comes to homosexuality it is quite strange to a western reader just how ubiquitous homosexuality is in their classical literature. It's enough to make any heterosexual westerner reach for the troubadours or the romantics after reading dozens upon dozens of poems written by arabs and persians in praise and admiration of their male lovers.

Can people really become pure again after losing their innocence? Is corruption and degeneration always one-way? Once someone has descended, known something to be wrong and agreed to do it of their own volition anyway, are the warped beyond repair? Maybe this is the wrong line of thinking. Maybe it's impossible to become pure again, but it is possible to begin a dialectical process from where one is at the bottom of a well of filth, recognizing where one is and how one arrived there, and proceeding not to the state from which the descent began but to a new state, a knowing of both innocence and defilement in which one has no illusions of returning to the former but through knowing both the former and the latter has reached a certain wisdom. Or maybe this too is a cope or overly idealistic dream, one in which actively engaging in immoral behavior and thinking is somehow valuable as the catalyst for such a dialectical process, in which one is not just a burned-out wreck of a once-stainless man but the precursor to some wiser, more deeply understanding version of himself. I suppose that can be a nice fantasy to have.
In the world to come I wonder what is to be done with defiled people. Will that which is unclean be burned away, leaving only what has not been touched? Can anyone truly be blamed for falling into corruption, from an omniscient perspective in which all factors influencing the development of a person can be known and understood, in which even inscrutable factors like an experience someone had at the age of 18 months which permanently altered their state of thinking despite said person not even remembering it themselves can be accounted for and recognized as exerting outsized influence on the future actions of this person? Maybe that's overly optimistic, in a way. Maybe what we have chosen for ourselves, for great or for terrible, will weigh us down like millstones as we strain to reach the heavens.

Why do you think it’s that during the period between the Revolution and industrial moderntiy that farming was a quasi-aristocratic occupation in America but is not today? In Europe, the connection between old aristocracy and agriculture is obviously quite visible, especially in Britain. In America though, farming is no longer the occupation of quasi-aristocrats in the style of Washington or Jefferson but basically rednecks who really love country music and country music culture. Do you know what I mean? What is the cause of this phenomenon?

        >imported british commodities and fashions to deliberately model themselves on their gentry / aristocrats
Kek, Dickens has great commentary on American "aristocratic" airs. British commodities were harder to come by for the areas which were deepest in on the meme (not just because Britain will blockade an upstart colony, but also because being cotton producers themselves they don't import as much). My favourite piece of commentary from Dickens is that the black nannies are the only ones with European manners.

Acedia has been my base state for years. If I had to get honest I don't think my life has a point besides making money. I do have friends but I don't have any deep relationship with anyone : I either lost the capability as I grew older or never really cared about people in the first place. It's been difficult to stand in front of the mirror although there is nothing wrong with my body. All of this is probably because I don't belong here.

That said, I've been thinking of making more money so that I can give that money to someone who is really living like a human being. I've thought of offering a house to my brother, who recently became a father, but I know for a fact this isn't what normal people do. I'm not quite sure how I'd feel if my brother that I didn't see for years suddenly called and said 'Hello man, how are you doing? Anyways, I bought you a house somewhere nice. How about you leave your job and come here with your family?'. It's weird, and he'll probably refuse, but I don't want him to pay rent all his life or anyone to pay taxes on my heritage when I croak. I don't think I can use my life in any other meaningful way.

I had a dream last night that a star in heaven was beginning to die. In its dying radiance it alit the whole world, and men rose from their beds and wandered out to gaze upon this new sun. Here my mind's eye left my body and showed me a powerful shockwave emanating from the star, heavenly wanderers shattered to splinters, then our own moon, then our own earth. And I watched it get torn apart with such force that it shook my detached sight. Then I died, my sight entirely snuffed out, save for the sound of my own gasping, quick breaths, fearful of what was to come and what was lost. Then my sight returned to a scene of some ridiculous comedy, I loath to even try to describe what the actors were performing. They told stupid jokes, stared at the audience I was for a response, then I awoke. What do you think this meant?

there's a whole official and unofficial genre of these because of the mass market nature of pop music. there's a book and movie package deal called [Slade in] Flame for example featuring these guys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eMUyyFXhTY in a band that is totally not Slade which is breaking up due to addiction and fame problems like some members wanting to sign on to more mass marketing licensing deals
both the movie and the novel are much better than they have any business being, but beyond such licensed deals, there's always fanfiction. chances are someone's already writing a lot of rapey Alice fanfiction

One time I waited outside my girlfriends apartment for over an hour because she wouldn't answer my texts. I thought she was purposely making me wait because she knew I was about to break up with her. But she was just asleep and when she woke up she let me in. She was taken completely by surprise and started crying. I couldn't stand the sight of her tears, so I apologised and took it back. Then we fricked while she was still crying.

Yeah. I'm mostly plant-based at this point. Quinoa, almonds, walnuts, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, bananas, kale, broccoli sprouts, beans, sweet potatoes, flax seeds, nutritional yeast, lecithin, carrots, sweet peppers, and almond milk make the bulk of my diet. I'll add stuff like dried mangoes, pomegranates, cherries, strawberries or whatever sometimes, too. Plus, daily DHA+EPA, Vitamin D, and B12. Going to also add some lion's mane powder. This is enough to hit macros and micros, keep saturated fat low, protein adequate, plenty of fiber, anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatories etc. What about you?

B12 is taken as supplements by most plant-based people and it is recommended that all adults over 65 years of age also take B12 supplements regardless of diet.
D is synthesized in the body from exposure to sunlight or can be taken as supplement as many people do.
K2 can be made my bacteria in the gut.
F isn't even a vitamin, the fatty acids are obtained from nuts and seeds.
A is gotten from spinach, lettuce, kale, no problem.
B6 is also no problem, it's a simple B vitamin found in many foods.
CoQ10 is also found in plant food.
If you think they can't be absorbed from plants you're welcome to post a source.

Your cholesterol isn't necessarily going to go down from upping plant based foods and decreasing animal based ones. (In some cases it may have the opposite effect, especially if a vegan doesn't use b12 because they haven't researched it)

            Anonymous

Well there are those so called "junk food vegans" who don't plant out their diet. But generally speaking, it seems a plant-based diet is preferable for lowering cholesterol compared to a predominately meat based one.

            Anonymous

No, junk food vegans still use b12 if they research it. The problem is replacing b12 with folate when there's less available b12, you start producing cholesterol as a byproduct. It's why folic acid supplements can also cause it in some people, and it's a sign of some b12 absorption disorders.

            Anonymous

My point is more that if you take a bit of time to actually look into what you need, like the B12, then plant-based makes more sense for health barring of course disorders someone may have. But even then, that would affect a carnivore diet, too, right?

Cholesterol is really good for you.
Every indigenous peoples has gotten most of their calories from animal sources. They also have lower cardiovascular diseases, they're taller, no cavities, etc.

Cholesterol is good in the sense you need it to live. Whether you need more of it from diet is another story. Hmm, I'm pretty sure those primitive societies didn't have lower cardiovascular disease when a closer analysis was made. Inuit seem to die pretty young from heart disease if memory serves. I think we even have hunter-gatherer samples from the past that have atherosclerosis.

            Anonymous

This is kinda tricky, though. Because diets differ pretty radically between hunter-gatherer groups. In one place they'll eat lots of hazel nuts, deer, berries. In a different spot the diet will be fish, roots, undomesticated grains. There is no one "natural diet." The type of fat matters, too. Saturated fat raises cholesterol, but other fats don't. Contemporary food is loaded with saturated fat in large amounts our ancestors would have rarely encountered. Domestication of animals like cattle has greatly increased their saturated fat amount.

            Anonymous

No human group in history would have nuts as a staple in their diet, just because of how labour intensive they are to source compared to their caloric value. Go far enough back they'd never eat grains either, which are toxic until they're cooked. And by historical standards the saturated fat content of contemporary food is not high but moderate.

It's true, they were nutty for hazelnuts. What's the use of going back that far- before cooking? It's when humans began to cook their food that our brains began to expand. Thought to be due to cooking roots and tubers and getting all those carbs. And if you really want to go far back our ancestral diet would have been fruit and insects. So you will eat the bugs and I will go to bed now.

            >In a new paper published last week in Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution, the UNLV-led team analyzed the dataset that the research group from last year’s study used and dismissed their findings.

            >“We were struck by the implications of a substantial reduction in modern human brain size at roughly 3,000 years ago, during an era of many important innovations and historical events — the appearance of Egypt's New Kingdom, the development of Chinese script, the Trojan War, and the emergence of the Olmec civilization, among many others,” Villmoare said.

            >“We re-examined the dataset from DeSilva et al. and found that human brain size has not changed in 30,000 years, and probably not in 300,000 years,” Villmoare said. “In fact, based on this dataset, we can identify no reduction in brain size in modern humans over any time-period since the origins of our species.”

If it helped us survive long enough to reproduce and help rear our young it isn't too surprising to imagine evolution selecting those who liked to eat meat. The problem isn't that meat can't be useful for survival. After all, if you have nothing to eat except meat then eat the meat. The problem is that there is compelling evidence to think meat isn't good for your health in terms of longevity. You think otherwise. Which is fine. But I'm heading off now.

            >anons ignoring the caste system
Gathered foods in regions with hazelnuts are seen as a high class thing (later dietary laws enforce this) because gathered foods came from access hunting lands. If you ate hazelnuts, you ate a good proportion more meat and fish and everything more than most because you were in the class that could afford to hunt and gather. Most sites have a class distinction where hazelnuts tend to the wealthy. There's one Celtic one near Basel which doesn't show the class distinction in diets shown elsewhere, but all the other Celtic sites do, so we don't know if those Celts were just commies or something else changed their diets.

            >plant-based makes more sense for health
Eh, if you wanted to limit most health problems from food, you're looking at processed foods. Meat based diets or plant based diets can be unhealthy. Having a diet restricted to solely either also has environmental damage and socioeconomic damages built in. Generally if you wanted an ideal, sustainably sourced meats and fish and fruits and vegetables from proximate sources are the best diet for most people. But people would prefer to pay for onions fields to replace the Amazon for either meat based or plant based diets. Most people on either are fooling themselves into spending more money and ignoring harms either personal or social, and not necessarily getting healthy food. A butternut squash grown in soil which has been killed by cash cropping on an organic farm in Kenya isn't going to do much more good for anyone than a factory bred chicken.
For most sustainable farming you need animal involvement, and things like ovolacto vegetarianism with local sourcing are probably closest to the least harmful to animals and the environment choices most westerners could make.

Lol onions fields (for cattle feed or vegan food) not onions. The context made me forget about the filter.

You have to be eating some weird animal livers for you to get a vitamin A overdose. Most people get it from supplements really. But those kinds of things are rare cases, like people getting a beta carotene tan from liking carrot juice too much. B12's really the only supplement you absolutely need to go vegan, which is why there's such a shift from the 1970s forward (because before then you had to get it from animal products)

How long can a person wallow in self pity even if they really did suffer the things they claimed they did?

How long can a person use his bad upbringing and experience as an excuse before it's just like
    stfu, get over it

How do I reclaim my life? I have a job making less than 100k per year, but I can't do anything but think about it. I want to quit so bad, but I'll become just as moronic at a new job if I can get one. The main thing is, I don't even know what my real interests are anymore.

I get into stuff for a bit and fall out of it, never really getting anywhere with anything. I have tried learning French and German and failed both. I did martial arts but quit because I can't handle competition. I used to workout, but now I just don't see the point.... All that matters is work. I learned about clothing to dress nice for work. I took several business and accounting courses to get more well rounded for work. Etc etc.

I care too much about work and not enough about life.

My brother married a dumbass woman whom is now divorcing him. Over the past 10+ years I have loaned him probably $45k ever since he has been with her to bail him out of shit. Even $4k for her surgery 2 years ago while they were still married which I did in good faith. None of it having been paid despite all this crazy spending I have seen throughout that time (she treats money like water)

Now he's asking for another $2500 saying he will pay on Wednesday (even though he has never paid a cent back in the past, including the surgery which he said he was going to pay once he got his bo us that year)

Now he's my brother and I never really expected it back. But am I wrong to feel annoyed about this shit now. Especially since stupid spending is still going on. I know hes going through a divorce and getting fricked over and his kids are going to be fricked over by all of it too but man. Its starting to bother me

Aristocrats, monarchists, globalists, and all who seek to imitate or gain the appeal of them are homosexuals who probably aren't smart enough to read To Kill a Mockingbird.
