Yeah and that's my question. But all I'm getting are bs answers like how there were no mongols when that's simply not.

Alexander's empire was enormous, why no Greeks in mesopotamia?

again you don't seem to understand that the house of Tolui brought many of their mongolion subordinates and their clans to Iran. Meaning there was a Mongol population in existence
            >Alexander's empire was enormous, why no Greeks in mesopotamia?
Greeks lasted in Mesopotamia for 1000 years

There were Greeks in Afghanistan because of Alexander

You moronic gorilla Persian empire settled them there to keep revolts at bay
Alexander did help settling punjab area with greeks tho

            >Persian empire settled them there
Wasn't it the Seleucid empire? As in a Macedonian ruled empire directly spun off from Alelxander's? Seems a bit harsh to call him a moronic gorilla for that

a serious answer? well I guess it's because the Persians were massacred during the invasions or died from pandemics
The Persians who survived were from hard-to-reach regions like Fars and were seen as peasants, the Mongolian elite did not want to mix with commoners.
When the Mongol government declines, the Persians and Turks take the opportunity to expel them from the country.

It's not impossible for Mongols to occupy a territory without intermingling with the locals.

Okay but they did intermingle with the locals

Mongols didn't personally do most of their fighting. They just commanded and delegated it to Turks and traitors from their enemies side willing to make alliances with them.

is this supposed to be that specifically Mongol clade of C?
There is a bit of east asian ancestry in Iran.

This is just some subclade of C2 and founder effect. Different clans had different haplogroups. Turkmenistan or Uzbekistan, I don't remember, is full of Q which almost certainly came mostly with Turks or Mongols. R1a, N could also came with them. Even some J.

    Pre-Mongol expansion Central Asia was mostly R1a-Z93 (from Indo-Iranians), with some minor pre-II haplogroups (J, R2, L, G, E1b and so on).

      >Pre-Mongol expansion Central Asia was mostly R1a-Z93
Turkic expansion happened several centuries earlier, Z93 was already marginalised by then

Same thing happened in Britian, almost zero trace amounts of Roman dna despite several centuries of dominance there.

Same thing in Spain with the Moors.

    C exploited a haplo war between O and R1a-z93.
When genociding the Iranian population they used local R1a-z93 soldiers and when genociding the Chinese population they used local O soldiers, and claimed the glory. Everyone is happy O is happy R1a is killed and vice versa and C gets the wealth power glory and takes all the credit truly a remarkable resolution to a long haplo war
