I went for a cleaning recently and the dentist told me it doesn't replace regular flossing and it an 'extra'.

Not sure whether it's true or this is a play by the dentist lobby to make us dependent on them and their cleaning rituals.

add optometrists to that list. If you have myopia they're not going to tell you that you can just train your eyes to get rid of it, instead they'll push to sell you approved(tm) glasses made by a monopoly

Dentist is similar to big pharma industry

dentistry is unironically a literal cartel
      go with water flossing

      >Normal flossing doesn't even remove the stains and food debris
      >Water flosser easily removes all of that faster and cheaper

      >myopia they're not going to tell you that you can just train your eyes to get rid of it,
      thats because you can't

      Yes you can
You don't have the right knowledge, tools or medicine for that once you get those things sorted its similar process of healing your teeth

It's not as good as actual flossing, but it still works OK.
I hate flossing to be honest, but water flossing works for me. Better than nothing.

I like mine because it gets stuff that real flossing and brushing doesn't even reach and it's easier.

scientifically false, there have been studies (paid for by water flossing companies) proving that it's actually better.

I hated using floss, it's a pain in the ass so I just wouldn't. I got a water flosser and it's great. I also found these floss sticks and they're a much more user friendly option than normal floss so I use these too.

They're better than not flossing, but manual flossing will do a better job.
I would recommend using one of these

Regular flossing has NEVER been scientifically proven to cause a substantial improvement in oral health. Water flossing has been proven to be better at removing plaque than flossing.
If you floss with regular floss, you're a fricking idiot.

Not those shitty handheld ones. You have to use cold water or the motor overheats. Blasting cold water between your gums hurts like fricking murder if you have any kind of sensitivity

get one of the shower inline ones
