Easy mode, and you should have specified they must recite them from memory. Good challenge. It's true, if you can't recite even a meagre three verses from the Bible, you definitely aren't literate.
>Hebrews 4:12-13
"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do."
>Isaiah 64:1
"Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at Your presence—"
>In the beginning was the word, and the word was with god and the word was god. Genesis 1:1 >Jesus wept John 3:16 >Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
I haven't read the bible for the last what, 16 yrs? Prior to that I had read it cover to cover. I can't remember the exact verse for the third one.
No. I learnt everything I needed to when I last read it; there's really nothing more it could tell me, and I am not even saying it's a bad book, but it's just not for me, not with the impossible problems I was facing back then and still face today. The bible is a book that caters to a specific kind of person; the kind that would fit right in the medieval era without complaint of how uncomfortable it all isl I am a person that doesn't fit anywhere and probably wasn't meant to.
>No. I leart everything I needed to when I last read it;
LOL! No, you did not. Hilarious.

So now you are in my head and know what I know? Why does religion attract the most deranged schizos?

I don't need to be in your head. I only need to know Scripture. If Newton, Pascal, Kierkegaard, Leibnitz, Hopkins, Euler, and many others studied the Bible their whole lives, what hope do you have of having already gained everything it can give, lol? Nice buzzwords though.
The answer is none, obviously. And that wouldn't change no matter who you are.

So you have proved my point that the bible applies to certain kinds of people living in certain settings and further proved that you don't what you are talking about regarding my knowledge or plight?

I didn't prove you point at all. That's not a comprehensive list, nor are those people all the same sort of person.
You DEFINITELY have more to gain from Scripture, when you can't even handle my posts.

Handle what lmao? Empty non sequiturs that use my reasoning to contradict yourself? If you wanted to make a coherent point you would have listed anything because I can make the same argument for any list you come up with. It is you who can't get around my point.

Your problem is quite simple.
You're arrogant. Arrogance keeps people ignorant, but it's more sad to see in a guy who's at least in his 30s.
Yes. I am also a schizo who knows you are arrogant. Two can play that game

Whatever, dude. You really don't even have a point. You're making the claim that strangers don't know each other's minds, which is just obvious. Stop stating it like it's a truth nuke. And then you're claiming only certain types of people gain from the Bible, which is refuted by real life one million times over. You're just coping because you know you're wrong and that makes you insecure. People like you are self-condemned to stay ignorant and shallow thinkers. Have fun with that.

How is it refuted logic cel? Does the world contain 8 billion christians today? You keep calling me ignorant when you barely have a grasp of simple logic, you keep contradicting yourself and yet call me a cope? You don't understand how others can believe in anything else, so you call them ignorant and lost and yet call me shallow?

I only know one and that's because i watched pulp fiction too many times.
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."
Ecclesiastes 7:26-29 >I found that some women are worse than death and are as dangerous as traps. Their love is like a net, and their arms hold men like chains. A man who pleases God will be saved from them, but a sinner will be caught by them.

Now read the Masoretic and Septuagint texts and do a side by side comparison and write a paper on it. Deadline is June 24th. You have one month.
