The books you will be recommended will most likely be by mulattoes, quadroons, octaroons, not actual blacks
Anything by Machado de Assis
This.
Also Baldwin, St Augustine’s Confessions, Richard Wright, WEB Dubois, Frederick Douglas
Augustine is not black, friend
Don't know the others though
Not black
>St Augustine’s Confessions
Not black
Not black
Cope and seethe
still not black
Critique of Pure Reason
H O G G
I've had this sitting on my shelf for a good year now. It sounded hilarious to me but the homosexual can't write for shit.
basic economics by sowell
FREDERICK DOUGLASS
WEB DU BOIS
JAMES BALDWIN
ALICE WALKER
>he hasn't read the three musketeers
pleb
>75% white
>he hasn't read the three musketeers
Dumas had 1 black grandparent, 3 white grandparents, a white mother and a mixed father so ergo he was black
The Iliad
The Divine Comedy
Don Quixote
They're non-white but they're not blacks.
Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison.
Marlon James - The Book of Night Women
Richard Wright - The Man Who Lived Underground
Ralph Ellison - Invisible Man
George Schuyler - Black No More
Ishmael Reed - Mumbo Jumbo
James Baldwin - Giovanni's Room
William Gardner Smith - The Stone Face
if you count philosophy then WEB DuBois's Souls of Black Folks
if you count poetry, then throw in Paul Laurence Dunbar and Langston Hughes, but I'm definitely lacking in poetry not being a huge fan
Percival Everett - I Am Not Sidney Poitier
Shakespeare
Surprised nobody mentioned Iceberg Slim (the only based Black person)
Pynchon tells you to go check out Ishmael Reed in Gravity's Rainbow.
>nerd tells you to read a book by his blerd friend
I love black people so much. I am very envious of their easiness with each other, their lack of neuroticism in social life. I am envious that every black man gets to walk around and see that there are other black men who understand him. You can't tell a white devil banker from a white angel yeoman by looking face to face in a crowd. You cannot see who your friends are.
I think, if America is to be saved, it will be a black man who saves it. Not Obama who was a dumb basic b***h liberal too scared to own his blackness before white Americans.
Obama is a spineless noodle of a man.
Obama is genetically 60% white
his mother had black ancestors lmao, so probably 70% black
I like Langston Hughes' poetry. Fine Clothes to the israelite and Montage of A Dream Deferred are good.
Middle Passage by R. Charles Johnson.
Some black tweets are pretty kino. Black men, not women.
Thomas Sowell seems alright
Divine Days by Leon Forrest
