So far, I have only read "La Casa Verde" (The Green House), and it was a somewhat challenging book. The narration constantly changed perspectives (first person, third person), chapters weren't arranged chronologically, and whole dialogues between multiple characters would be narrated by one character without using quotation marks... just a simple "she/he said," or most of the time, not even that.
I also have La Tía Julia y El Escribidor, it was a present from a Peruvian acquittance, but I haven't read it.
Ignore the haters OP. Imagine posting on a literature board and getting mad when people show what books they’re buying. I picked up Dracula, the P&V translation of the Death of Ivan Ilyich & and Other Stories, and 1848 by Michael Rapport. Working on finishing up Song of Solomon and Eric Foner’s book on Reconstruction. Keep on reading!
No. I'd recommend returning your purchases and using the money on something less gay.
oh yeah? well those quad dubs say different
you must feel pretty dumb now buddy
Almost....Also your book choices are lame and shopping at a book store is for suckers.
I like supporting local stores not globohomosexual corps. All those books were like 7 bucks.
Used stores are based, frick off.

Seems good enough
Good boy.
Holy hell. Have some pride in what you purchase/enjoy, and stop begging random people for validation, anon
You did good, although I've never read The Prince, but I did play Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood.
This week's haul.
What's Vargas Llosa like in Spanish? I read feast of the ghost in the English translation, and it's a compelling subject, but the prose was wretched
