No you don't. I've heard Genshin victims talk about 'playing' the game, and all they ever mention is grinding for resources and what pulls they got. Even the 'free' 'gameplay' is just begging for scraps so you can be briefly let into the casino.
Literally Lumine is my only good character and you simply can't pay anything to level her up. You just need to play the game. I never grind anything, I'm even using Prototype Rancour, which you get to forge for free after you fight Dvalin, and it's currently at lvl60.
Dude genshin is a pretty fricking terrible game and I don't even have issues with the gacha. The writing is terrible, the pacing is terrible, the character grind is terrible and the devs are lazy and incompetent as evident by the 2.7 patch saga and the tea pot placement fiasco. You might autistically larp as Lumine going around with your Prototype Rancour but once you've played the game for a little bit longer and the honeymoon phase is over you'll hit all these issues and wonder where the frick all the money they're making is going.

Spotify used to have such an incredible music discovery experience. In the early days, it was an actual human choosing what you saw and curating the discovery sections. But it is such dog shit in recent months especially that I believe it is all algorithm based now. YouTube Music also has really shitty discovery for me, it just gives me popular shit and nothing like I'm even actually listening to. At least my New Releases section in Spotify is based around the shit I actually listen to and artists I follow. Is there a free and open source algorithm based music discovery thing?
