I had my paperwork all filled out to go on a mormon mission. I read this book and was totally devastated. My whole life was a life. i left the mormon church, and realized god didn't exist and that we die when we die. I'm doing great now. but I was devastated for a while
Damn sorry to hear about it but honestly it’s better to be broken in by a respected historian than a bunch of morons screeching in the internet. Joseph Smith certainly was a true visionary for his time and his accomplishment in the early years of the American republic is genuinely impressive, just too bad everything he said was completely and utterly made up. He almost certainly believed it himself though which is as equally fascinating as if he didn’t.
Yes. My father was a cruel man and he forced me to study Hegel from an early age. I had struggled through the lectures on history and religion, but gained my footing in the Sense Certainty chapter of the Phenomenology. But then I found myself wrecked upon the great shore of the Greater Logic.
In the end, my father felt it was best to beat the knowledge into me with the 1,188 page, leather bound critical edition of the Greater Logic we had. Two of my ribs broke before the book's bindings gave. It was an original German antique. They made their books well.
Today I count flail chest as but a minor inconvenience on my path to the attainment of Absolute Knowing.

When consumers read a very slightly thought provoking book for the first time lol
Most videos following this format just end up reading a wiki summary of the whole damn thing, and by the end go "that's why... le book broke me..."
That and non stop use of "you", because you really feel, you just can't, and you...
400 pound ceo really bummed me out.
What is the name of the book? I frick despise present game grumps and have zero interest in watching that fricking video.
literally just a book that arin wrote lol. video exists only to promote it
