i think we definitely consented to government with the declaration of independence here in the states. plus, this completely ignores immigrants that come to a country being aware of the governing body.
how else the state is meant to pay for anything ? taxes on some things are bit of theft but others nah, the actual theft is using that tax money for outside shit like money to the israelites

The problem with his statement here is that you are voluntarily subsiding under such government. Thus you are giving your consent. You can withdraw your consent by leaving.
The issue then becomes monopoly, not necessarily theft, because there is no real place to go without tax. At which point, you can still withdraw your consent by raising an army and making a new country.
Spooner was a proponent of intellectual property so think of it like an end-user license/terms of use agreement. You agree to a lot of minutiae whenever you use a piece of software, it's the same with doing anything IRL. Avoiding directly/indirectly using government services is practically impossible but hypothetically doable. Spooner would say the RIAA can take all your stuff for consuming content you didn't pay for so why is taxation anymore absurd?
Fortunately nobody in the past nobody was dumb enough to support cops.
i never consented to you morons existing - please rope at your earliest convenience
>t. taxman
Seems interesting, I'll have to do some reading up on him. Thanks Anon.
>"The government is illegitimate because nobody ever consented to it"
There, I saved you hours of your time

The government provides services though.
That is one of the problems, isn't it?
We cannot rely on the private sector to provide required government services. At least, not with the current capitalist model.
But we can kill all the cops, which is better. That's the ideal outcome actually.
>but there's more cops
Then kill them.
How many have you killed?
No, they would have to actually be the government, not just say it.
stop participating in society then if you hate taxes, unless you yourself are a thief.
>stop participating in society
But how? They'll tax you even if you sequester yourself in a forest cabin
State Indoctrination Institutions do not discuss my writings either. This must be why.

Who stood against it? Genuine question
Taxation benefits the entire community as a whole. Consent is irrelevant.
Who?
