How about >The ability to run even the latest foss software without it destroying your installation. >The ability to run securely as administrator/root >Having it automatically update drivers, software, bios, and never having to think about it. >Having everything just work without endlessly messing with config files >Not having to deal with the toxic community every time something inevitably breaks.
>Wintoddlers still don't understand how linking works
Holy shit. This board needs an ethnic cleansing.

Linux doesn't implement anything of the sort you fricking Black person. You can have multiple versions of libraries and even (as a mad man) link them into the same process.

If you actually had a point you wouldn't feel the need to resort to such inflammatory language.
I remember the days where you would do a clean Windows install on an OEM PC since the preinstalled OS came with a lot of bloatware. Nowadays a "clean" Windows install comes with so much more bloatware, nagware, ads etc than any OEM dared to put on their PCs back then.
Windows 11 is a quality of life improvement for wfh wagies like me because now I can flip my kvm switch and windows will actually reposition windows correctly. That's literally the only thing I care about.
It's pathetic it took M$ this long to implement a feature GNOME 3 has had for a decade.
I liked the visual customization they've inluded in the screen settings and the move away from tiles. It seems pretty barbeones in terms of trash installedo so its a move in the right direction.
>he still runs proprietary software on his devices and software/web service subscriptions that enable continuous renegotiation even though the deals keep getting worse and worse
Frogposter, the pot is boiling.
Stupid frogposter
Bernd is right.

Games and Popular Apps. That's all it takes to be better than something else like gayos or loonix.
How about
>the ability to install two versions of the same library without your installation self-destructing
Gentoo doesn't have this problem
I don't think any Linux distro has this problem

It's ok.
>I am tired of pretending that Windows 11 is not the best current OS.

Unfathomably based. I hope you are also using Enterprise, winbro

If it's so good why can't my 2018 pc run it?
Because it's 2024.
and? What my i5-8700k can't handle a literal theme?
I run 11 on a i4 7400. Works fine for me.
they don't let me install it, should I risk bypassing the block and get my files forever lost?
then stop pretending and start voicing your opinion out loud (so we know who is the moron)
