I guess C++ really is the only option for cross platform GUIs that aren't Electron or Microsoft. Why the FRICK does every other language not care about this stuff?

I'm not OP, but isn't that for gtk4? Does/will gtk4 even work well outside GNOME? AFAIK, KDE devs said that supporting gtk4 might be very difficult to do? I like GNOME, but that's besides the point here.

It means you jerk to the idea of cucking your mom by fricking your dad which is, well, a certifiably moronic thing to say to anybody.

so far, purely from IQfy posts, the statistics say that venn diagram for homosexuals and anons who don't use C++ is a complete circle

C++ users have suspiciously too much time to be skewing the IQfy post stats in their favor. I wonder how.

I just wrote a script few years ago that backs up all archived threads and current active ones, which then lets me to query things like "how many times moronic Black folk posted word 'tranime' this year", when you compare it to previous years, it looks kinda odd

There are other options, they just suck equally hard.
There are "I can't believe it's not electron" GUIs like Tauri.
There is Java GUIs, like Swing. Jetbrains IDEs are the only ones on it that do not look competely shit with it and you're forced to become a java sir.
And there's Tk, it's simply C. Ugly as hell, but Python has bindings for it in-built.

Just do a web UI on top of an embedded HTTP server and save yourself the headache.
    GUI development is a b***h.

      Pascal enjoyer

We really have gone backwards. Nowadays everything's all webshit and batch processing. I'm inspired to design a language/environment that makes GUI programming as easy as it was with Delphi.

      > GUI development is a b***h
It isn't though. It's just neglected. Even back when Python and Ruby started going big, all the kool kids were interested in was webshit so they could go and work for Google. Meanwhile all the GUI options in these "modern" languages are just clumsy wrappers of C or C++ libraries like GTK or Qt.

what's the point of your cope exactly?
you're totally making something new and not just copying what already exists anyway, right?

well its not like theres more options for the desktop other than C++, C#, golang and rust
Golang has one but is very bared boned
theres wrappers for rust but every port for rust is some halfassed shit. Pisses me off. Either do it right or dont do it at all and possibly waste somebody's time.
