Power 9
this, tbh
Though the motherboards are so darn expensive
Intel even if it costs more just to be on the safe side
>Intel
>safe
How's the weather in Israel?
very hot
The most value for the money.
I wouldn't build a PC today, prices are fricked.
gayzen for sure
Intel has been stagnant for half a decade, to be on the safe side get an AMD CPU, they're better and support old motherboards longer. Also they're better and will be for at least a 2-3 years
AMD, intel's cache is limited in size, this directly effects it's performance when you do anything that efficiently uses every thread or you end up maxing out two threads on the same core.
Intel makes a good core, but a shitty CPU.
whodat?
F1NN5TER
I wanna lick his precum and play with his penis in my mouth so bad
you are a homosexual for even considering Intel.
but don't take my word for it. techjesus said it best:
12700K, 12900K, 5800X, 5950X.
Honestly any of these will do.
>hedt
amd
>the rest
intel
only threadripper and epyc platforms aren't a fricking joke in the amd side
am4 is pure trash, everything is bugged, they never did any QA and let manufacturers did whatever the frick they want (aka reducing costs and scamming consumers) also amd already stopped trying to improve it and they're sueing whoever is trying to mainline features to linux like various sensors formulas and they refuse to send a tiny pdf file to linux devs with the correct formulas and they refuse to do the tiny MR themselves.
you have to realize how absolutely insane this is, it costs them literally nothing, an intern could do send the MR, it takes 30 seconds to do, but it won't happen because AM4 was already deprecated at launch while zen 4 epyc support is already mainlined...
I have a 5950X and if alder lake is any good then I'm switching back to intel, I don't give a shit about muh housefire, electricity is cheap and I would rather have a working platform than the abomination I'm currently stuck with.
thy have to hire trillions of devs and lawyers to fix this mess, frick amd and frick manufacturers who sell us junk because amd does not care.
Intel. Ryzen was good for the past two years or so but now it's just a meme.
>Intel. Ryzen was good for the past two years or so but now it's just a meme.
Aw shit, I really wanted a good system with a powerful CPU and graphics too bad intel outperforms all of them
3D or games, AMD.
all others, Intel.
AMD. Although I wouldn't build a pc today in the first place.
why not?
Expensive gpus and I think storage as well. Might stay that way but I'd wait all the same. Although I do admit I'm saying that from the position of someone that has no issues with my current setup since I built it not long before this shitstorm started.
storage is fine, Black person
Ryzen is much much better than anything Intel offers right now.
I'd go for ryzen 5600x, I don't need that many cores for what I do but the low power draw and high IPC would be nice (compared to my ancient haswell)
but I don't really feel like I need to upgrade yet, maybe in a year or two when ddr5 is a bit more reasonably priced and amd has the crazy 200mb 3D caches
if alderlake supports user interrupts , probably one of those.
seems like a sapphire rapids only features also why would you need that? what kind of coomsumer softwares you use that could benefit from this?
Cute girl
>girl
AMD. intel 12th gen will be good though
today right now at this very moment amd but there is alder lake which will obliterate amd forever more and they will never recover again
AMD easily at this point, though if rumors are accurate Intel's upcoming CPUs may be faster, at least until AMD also releases something new again.
>inlel
>ever
11400 f is a great bang for the buck
it's definitely the best budget CPU right now, or 10400f
Depends on what I want to do with it. If I want the best of the best, I'd get AMD. If I want best value for money, I'd get the 10400f or 11400f.
lmao you'd literally be a moron if you went with incel in the year of our lord 2021
General purpose/gaming: Ryzen
audio/video production: Intel (some audio and video things don't like AMD), but I'd rather buy an M1 macbook (as shitty as it sounds)
