"Power corrupts" is a meme. Power just gives already corrupt people the ability to enact their will. They go from fantasizing about murdering their enemies to actually being able to do it. Most leaders throughout history have been relatively normal and not corrupted by power. People just remember the ones who went off the rails.

      this

good leaders will use power to do good things

bad ones will use power to enrich themselves.

People who are good at taking advantage of people are usually those who make it to the top more easily.
10% of CEO's are psychopaths despite them only making up 1% of the population.

    >At the end of the Revolutionary War, many people in America and Europe thought Washington would retain the reins of power to become the leader of the new nation, or even king. When told by the American artist Benjamin West that Washington was going to resign, King George III of England said "If he does that, he will be the greatest man in the world."

The demiurge is the most evil being in existence and he created the inherently evil and unjust systems of the world we live in. He's so hysterically intent on shifting blame to others and trying to make something other than himself the ultimate evil that it's honestly embarrassing to watch him tell such blatant moronic lies, by doing so he just broadcasts and magnifies his already readily apparent corrupt nature.

Like right now for instance he's trying to menace me for playing a total war video game. He's so moronic that he thinks he can say I'm evil for going for a republic victory in shogun 2 fall of the samurai when the only reason I'm even doing it is for the extra challenge because it's a fricking video game.

    >nnnnnnngngghgghn reeeeee if you try to go for the hardest victory condition in shogun 2 total war 2 by making all the other clans declare war on you that means you'd try to incite a war with all of Japan in real life instead of making the much more sensible choice of aligning with the strongest existing faction!!!!

    >the things that he says and believes are just so unimaginably stupid it's just so baffling to me that he could be this stupid and still create this whole reality somehow.

His biggest "gotcha" that "proves" that I'm evil (and therefore he's good and all the evil shit he's done to me is justified) is that I raised money in a fundraiser to switch a website to a different forum software then when I couldn't raise enough money I instead traded half-ownership of the website (valued 20x higher than what was raised) to someone so that he'd pay for the transfer then I paid +/- the same amount that was raised in the fundraiser on the license and some of the apps for the new software. Also the website was a vbulletin forum that sold subscriptions. His justification? I'm a peasant and therefore not allowed to own property, be involved in business, use equity, etc.

The other half of the website was then stolen by the person that I made the deal with all while I was constantly being threatened, harassed, stalked, etc by evil stupid morons (all certainly controlled by the demiurge). The demiurge actively sides with them, believes what they (he) did was good because anything is can be justified to keep a peasant (me) in their place. This is his morality. He's a corrupt evil moronic piece of shit, but he makes these moronic threads constantly, every day thinking in his dumb moron brain that it's somehow possible to make himself good and me bad.

Most people will never know because they don't ever get power. Closer we will ever see that is seeing how they treat their weak poor nephews.

Most people who got power who at least noble in birth. It's had to say really. But imma say no, power corrupts and too any idiots think giving one man power is a good thing.
