So weak it lasted several centuries, had some of the greatest commanders in European history like Prince Eugene, and defeated the Ottomans at their peak, Frederick the Great, and Louis XIV's generals in many battles. Not to mention Napoleon married a Hapsburg so legally he was not French but Austrian.
The Bohemian plain is a natural place for a state to emerge, surrounded by highlands and mountains, and along with Moravia, have carved out a decent history for themselves; getting stuck in. Prague deserves a seat at the big boy table.
Imagine there's a discussion on cities to be included in a reconstituted America, and you say this about Washington D.C. in reference to Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia.
I fricking miss it too. Mainly just for its art and culture that it produced for a few glorious decades before the days of turmoil and strife. I do find it a bit historically poetic though that its last bow to the universe was creating Hitler through his incubation period in Vienna who was able to drag the rest of Europe kicking and screaming into the abyss which they’re still in the process of climbing out of to this very day. Also ironic that due to Hitler’s very existence a permanent Anschluss between the Austrian rump state and Germany has likely been postponed a millennia if not indefinitely
It was ruined when they lost Venice
All Napoleon III fault
The most diverse European empire turned out to be one of the weakest.
Watch america in the next 50 years.
>The most diverse
You think the AH empire was some sort of "diversity is strength" lefty paradise?
t. Nationalisticgays
you're a moron if you think they were nationalists, and you're an even bigger moron if you don't think that would have made them cool
You never be female

Countries aren't real
yes. empires are only as strong as their dominant ethnic group
India, Iran and Brazil?
Austria went to shit after 1866. Before then it was a fairly powerful country.
It was not diverse in the way America is. It was called the prison of nations for a reason.
So weak it lasted several centuries, had some of the greatest commanders in European history like Prince Eugene, and defeated the Ottomans at their peak, Frederick the Great, and Louis XIV's generals in many battles. I can get behind the idea of a Pannonian Plain Empire, with an Adriatic Coastline.
Yes:
>Vienna
>Budapest
>Zagreb
>Sarajevo
>Ragusa
No:
>Lviv
>Krakow
>Prague
>Belgrade
>Venice
Carpathian, Adriatic, Balkan Mountains and Alps = their natural borders they should stay the frick within.
Romania, Hungary, Bosnia & Croatia are provincial tier entities at best.
>no Prague
zero reason for this
The Bohemian plain is a natural place for a state to emerge, surrounded by highlands and mountains, and along with Moravia, have carved out a decent history for themselves; getting stuck in. Prague deserves a seat at the big boy table.
the erz and sudetes mountains shield this Pannonian Plain Empire from the Northern European plains
>Lviv
>Krakow
>Prague
>Venice
HRE by right
Naahh, all these cities - bar maybe Lviv - trounce Vienna. No way they can live under its administration.
Imagine there's a discussion on cities to be included in a reconstituted America, and you say this about Washington D.C. in reference to Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia.
The empire might be dead. But the dream of the Linz programme lives on.
What could have been.
>we get to keep our czech sovereignty and the austrians rid us of brno
I love it.
>t. Fellow River Basin State enjoyer.
Ukraine = Dnipro
Poland = Odra & Vistula
Russia = Volga
