They're only native Americans when america starts being a thing.
They have no special claim to the country, only to their own tribal bands and nations. They're normal citizens like anyone else who had parents in America at the founding and, preferably, before that.
So they're together with Anglo-Saxon protestants and blacks and above German, Irish, Italian and Mexican scum. Also the chinese.

there's plenty of non catholic Germans that immigrated to the US. A rule of thumb is, if they weren't catholic they were a good immigrant, or if they moved to the interior of the country. Tons of northern and central italian immigrants moved into central us and assimilated, all the Sicilians and southern scum stayed in the cities

I have a small amount of Scots-Irish ancestry from one grandmother despite being mostly German and Ellis Islander (that being Austrian/Hungarian).
My ancestors came from Hanover in the 1740s, they were farming in Pennsylvania in 1776.
