Look forward to 'Curry Coloured' being a frequent descriptor.
I read Dune after watching a few of those repulsive 'Indian Street Food' videos, needless to say It's pretty gross to be reminded of street shit slop every time Herbert tries to describe the dunes. Aside from that, I liked it.
>t.seething western incel
reminder india has the fastest growing population in the world and the most people. in the meanwhile 2/3rds of western men are single and half of them are virgins, probably because all their women were stolen by desi gods
I mean this in the nicest way possible when I say, no western girl wants an Indian man, they've got to be the most undesirable race in the dating pool.

Every single street of India that I visit on google maps is full of garbage, everything is dirty as frick and its very sad to think that you are delusional enough to not know better. Please, go to any street of a first world country on google maps and visit them.
>Look forward to 'Curry Coloured' being a frequent descriptor.
bullshit. in total, as a color descriptor, 'curry' is used twice, while 'curried', 'curry color', and 'curry-colored' are used once each in the first three books, and then none of these are used in the next three.
for the sake of completeness, 'curry' is used once more in the sense of 'to curry favor'.
IMO it's Shakespearean plays but set in science future. It's major players talking on a set. Action is offscreen or sparse and only limited to duels. It's a weird set of books.
I remember I once sat next to a man just starting the first book on a flight from Amsterdam to Tenerife. He had an open notebook on the tray table, in which he kept writing names, dates and events. So prepare for a lot of lore, I guess
It's a very drawn out, sloggish book, but it's good if you're the kind of person who enjoys lorehomosexualry and needing a wiki tab open in order to understand what's going on
i will read them all, dont worry, but I dont give money to blackrock

Anon do you... do you think I care that you're stealing books? Frank has been dead for like 40 years. There's no one to support by buying them now, you're not exactly Robin Hood here.

Actually he is, because his estate gets the dough, which means his deranged son with his awful fanfics. By stealing Herbert's books you're doing something good.

That’s curry being used as a visual descriptor 5 more times than in anything else I’ve read. Point still stands.
>reads a variation of a word once every 366 pages
>AHHH IT'S TOO MUCH
you should scurry off and have some curry
If I hadn't been subject to the visual torture of Indian street food videos, maybe I would. Those 'Jeets must have stomachs of cast iron.
If you're reading the trilogy, you might as well buy God Emperor of Dune since it serves as a decent epilogue for the whole thing.
Poorly written boring sci-fi
>trump wristband
>Trilogy
Not gonna make it. 4th one is the best.
Good world building, everything else is terrible. Each book is worse than the last.

Is this bait? Why not go for the best one? Lord Leto commands it!
thanks anon now I know exactly which ones to st*al
Why not just read them all? They're all great, it's just that number 4 is the best. 4>=?1>2>else

Don't worry, you are Robin Hood.
you already bought them, you dumb piece of shit, just open the fricking book. I will find you, and I'm going to smash your skull in with a big rock.
In my mind, curry will always be Thai food as they are the only people who can make curry that tastes good.
always had this opinion. I mean thai make curry into some crazy coconut spice soup. indian curry is just sauce lazily drizzled over some rice.
