they hold jesus to be a mere human, not part of any divine ensemble, on the basis that this would count as "shirk", "association". there's no holy spirit in islam (meaning sunni islam - shia is a hodgepodge of sects, who knows or cares what they think).

yeah, telling God what He can and cannot do like a simpleton SEEMS real simple
but then turning the other way and CHOOSING to follow an illiterate marauding pedophile who gave the God of moses a NEW NAME is even simpler, given the implications of THE name of the God of moses. you can't have God's name mean "behold nail behold hand" and then NOT call Jesus God 600 years after God says it is finished...

muslims are ever so simple in that regard,

I said there is no holy spirit *in islam*. since we are in a christard topic, this was meant that there is no comparable player in muslim fairy tales. the spirit of righteousness is a title of Gabriel. originally the quranic text obviously referred to either the christian or the israeli holy spirit, but islamic theology saw to it that it got redefined, lest they assiciate something with allah.

What does it have to do with the holy spirit ?

The holy spirit is neither a god nor even a person and no Christian worships it.

all catholics, for one. are you playing your silly little game of pretending only jehovists are christians?

The Roman Catholic Church cannot be christian because it teaches many doctrines that are in DISAGREEMENT with what the Bible declares !!

These include apostolic succession, worship of saints or Mary, the trinity, prayer to saints or Mary, papacy, hellfire, infant baptism, transubstantiation, plenary indulgences, involvement in wars and politics, the sacramental system, and purgatory.

These concepts are based on Catholic tradition, NOT the Word of God. In fact, they all clearly contradict Biblical principles !!!

it's called seething, it only comes out when the seether is alarmed, which happens when there are people sufficiently addressing reddity safety net points of arguments he's put up in his head
now this one is real mad because the aforementioned people keep turning out to be christians

I guess I should just call you a liar for all the things you know differently than me. I had jws lie to me in the past about their religion just to get a hearing, they are the worst obnoxious creatures this side of southern baptists.

"He is the firstborn of all creation.”—Colossians 1:15.
“the beginning of the creation by God.”—Revelation 3:14.

Imagine calling the Holy Bible "heretical"

I would hesitate to call anything heretical except for debate purposes (if the other party is a theist and runs into a heresy of his own sect), but for the majority of christians jesus as created would absolutely be considered heretical.
