who the frick talks about anything confidental on phone? phone calls can be recorded by the police
if you really need security, you'd use tails for communication online, something like signal and do the confidental stuff offline without phone

      >something like signal

you don't have to use that
what else would you use for secure communication? matrix and xmpp would be good, but lacks e2e for voice calls

Matrix has e2ee for 1 on 1 voicecalls, only group calls aren't encrypted

If you really need security you'd only whisper to people inside of an opaque faraday cage while playing 1000 different conversations through some speakers.

You can do all that shit on your phone, too. Yes, even encrypted calls.

    >and can Android compete?
Yes, it's called having a fricking brain. Android users would have no use for something like this because they are not technologically illiterate consoomers like itoddlers.

If you're a journalist/activist/dissident in an oppressive regime, I suppose. If you're a Saudi royal or some shit. Maybe diplomats?

I think its for people people under sudden media attention. Abortion doctors would be a prime example right now, or lawyers of high profile cases. I dont imagine its to protect from goverments or NSA but rather getting doxed from being on the news

Only Applegays are moronic enough to need something like this, Android users can protect themselves.

Wouldn't surprise me if this actually made you appear on a shit list and sends all your data to the NSA.

If you injure your thumb in certain ways it will seem to get snagged on or brush against absolutely everything and it will hurt like a b***h over and over. I bet most old farts have experienced it at some point.
