It's a wrapper of tesseract OCR, the same one googe uses. What more of a GUI do you need on a PC than selecting a part of the screen?
If you have pictures, pass them directly to tesseract.
If you don't have the IQ to use this, just buy an iphone.

Tesseract will output to stdout, pipe the text to whatever you want.
