So... Almost a full 24 hours since this was taken on Mars.
NASA hasn't said shit.
What the hell did Perseverance just capture?

got a NASA link to the photo?

it seems to me like a silicon base lifeform.
there's no way a material like that could exist on mars, only on earth you can find that and there's no way something like that came with the perseverance.
A piece from a studio prop isn't "extraterrestrial life"
Explain to me very slowly why NASA would willingly publish a photo like that if it were actually a prop. It's definitely not life though since the rover was near a previous crash site.
might be discarded wires or plastics or shredded wheel from the lander / rover / helicopter itself
also Mars has low gravity so its rock-formations can be more brittle than similar found in, say, northern New Mexico
my guess is probe debris, we've sent 11 of the things.
Would it be easy to verify an inventory if anything that remotely looked like that was a part of any of the crafts?
Parachute attatchments? Was the rovers instruments tied off, and the rover had a pocket knife extension it used to snip the ties before it could unfurl it's instruments?
>Would it be easy to verify an inventory if anything that remotely looked like that was a part of any of the crafts?
???
Part from another rover or landing vehicle? Looks like string almost
looks like twine or plastic fibers used to tie something together. Maybe something left over from a used parachute?
they forgot some twine on the set. space is fake and gay.
Just some parachute strings OP
I found a bigger image so you can see how big it is.
Apparently the rover is near a crash site, and has found some other debris from it before. Could be from that.

Frick. I was excited for a second. Its definitely not some extraterrestrial life thingy if it's found near a crash site
well if you were a martian it would be
BASEDYY WOW LOOK AT THIS STRING I FOUND!!! IT'S TOTALLY PROOF THAT ALIENS ARE CRAWLING AROUND OUTSIDE THE TUNNELS!
IT'S NOT JUST A SILICON GRASS BALL THAT WIND BLEW OUTSIDE BECAUSE... BECAUSE IT ISN'T!!!
take your meds sweetie
that's a big curve
Every day we stray closer to the moon landing being fake and gay
>I-IS THAT A HECKIN MICROBE? OMG LIFE ON EARTH AS WE KNOW IT HAS FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGED FOREVER OMG OMG OMG IM GOING TO CALL MOM AND TELL HER I LOVE HER
Literal autism made this image.
Trans men can get pregnant too nazi.
>politics
Men getting pregnant is science. leave bigot
what kind of microscopic life caused those warts i wonder
I will always appreciate making fun of other people.
how did a walrus bone get onto mars.
>Never seen weird rocks before
Outside. Now.
Dude, are you on Mars right now?
i can tell where you're at by the look of the mountains
This is fake. Walri live in the water, and that skeleton clearly has feet.
Trash. You found a picture of some trash on Mars.
what would you give to reincarnate as a microbe living between her toes
I want to lick
theyre always showing weird photos to piss off the schizos
Based frick schizos.
Love seeing photos of rocks that could exist on earth naturally with red circles.
What is up with that?
If there was a mars colony how would they get/produce oxygen?
If they're near water ice, they can break it down into hydrogen (fuel) and oxygen.
I HATE THE ANTIBLARG I HATE THE ANTIBLARG
The funny thing about this one is when they spotted it they made specific attempts to distance the rover from it because of the high chance of life and ‘contamination risk’ initially they were going to go for a closer look but the change was rescinded by superiors.
They’ll probably save that place for some of the first manned missions
link?
drr drr drr
>Another ‘stringy mass’ also the same colour as the small piece in the latest photo.
Perhaps they are related phenomena, either a strange type of mineral, or life, a fossil or even something in-between like a virus
Wh couldn't it have gotten closer to get a better picture of that, is the photoshopped? Looks weird as frick
How is this one weird? It's literally the holes from where they drilled samples out
No those are obviously alien egg bores
PARIEDOLIA
Could be debris
Could be an imaging artifact like pic related
If it’s an artefact like that it’s an even bigger conundrum as to what caused the light
devon island, canada
>keep funding the fraud goy, taking sepia photos and making pretty star wallpapers is pretty expensive goy
It looks like string of maybe some torn off fabric, probably from the parachutes or something like that.
They have already discovered debris from previous Earth sent mars explorers.
This is another one.
It is looks like string from a parachute.
STOP finding aliens in easily explainable things!!!
Cotton wool dropped on set from the film directors fraying walmart t shirt
They've found several pieces of debris in the last couple months.
In the next probe to Mars they should bring a few big inflatable pools; filled with various liquids and materials, mini terraniums, mini exo systems, a few blow up green houses,
Fill them with all sorts of petri dishes and microbes, and stuff, and then check back on it in some time and see what happens.
Also the rover should plant plants, cactuses and stuff I guess
Can this be done? Would it not exciting and fun?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martian_regolith_simulant
we would have to simulate the martian environment and breed organisms to live in it, then they can go over
Well has that been being done?
I'm so curious to see if a bunch of different organic matters and organism and plants are dumped on Mars what will happen.
Is Mars has morgellons desease?
>even on mars there's microplastics
a fibrous blood clot from a covid vaccine victim
Looks like radiation hit the camera sensor while capturing an image (Mars has no atmospheric shielding from radiation) and also the rover hit a bump causing the sensor to shake. Combine one saturated pixel from the solar radiation with erroneous image stabilization from the bump, and you get this string looking homie.
1 life on Mars
2 space is fake and fricking gay
lets go with 1
