>Speaking to Arthur Schlesinger, Mrs. Kennedy remarked "I loathe the French. There's not one French person I can think of except maybe two very simple people. Maybe Boudin, who's so un-French. You know, they're really not very nice. They're all for themselves."

lal at how she said this after being snubbed by De Gaulle at a state dinner when he wasn't moved by her "See, I know who Mallarme was. I'm wicket smaht." attempt.

Despite what you might think, the british love to suck american wiener. They constantly marry americans, and move to america. They have a very americanized view of things. I remember talking to a londoner and I was shocked to find out that he bought into prosperity gospel and became obsessed with it, and I was even more shocked to find out that his friends did too. They have an americanized cuisine as well.

Just about the only non-american thing they do is that they're very unabashedly sexually trashy. Their women don't hide how whorish they are. Everything else though, it might as well be an official state of the USA. They left the EU just so they could get vassalized by America, which is a fact that can be proven by their extradition of Julian Assange at the US's request.

In the current age universities are the reason why people become americanized.
France itself (the French State) has to fight to stop university people from importing American woke ideas into France, like inclusive language (like the americans who say latinx)

    >The Eisenhowers were less than pleased to cede the White House to the Kennedys and Mamie was as bad as her husband about it. She brushed off Jackie Kennedy as a lightweight and "that college girl." When the new presidential couple were taken on a tour of the White House in early December 1960, Jackie was still recovering from John Jr.'s birth via C-section on November 25. Mamie neglected to inform her that there was a wheelchair on the second floor of the White House she could use. Jackie could sense the hostility from Mamie but remained composed and said nothing. Although weak and in pain, she dragged herself through the tour and finally collapsed when she got back home. When asked why she was so uncourteous as to not mention the availability of a wheelchair for Jackie, the outgoing First Lady just said "She didn't ask."

Miscarriages aren't as uncommon as you think. They're incredibly common. Somewhere between 10% and 25% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. Most of them unnoticed by the mother.

though that was in Colorado. still quite a long ways removed from the floofy Northeast and most of the girls there were set up to become the wife of some future bigshot farmer/rancher/oil baron. Mamie's parents expected her to marry a guy like that and thought a lowly Army lieutenant was beneath her.

Eisenhower never super-loved Nixon but he still fully expected and wanted him to win, being the staunch party man he was. I do agree however that him and Mamie, being the Midwesterners they were, and having lived many years in meager conditions without a permanent home over his Army career, absolutely did consider the Kennedys effete yacht club Northeasterners.

he invented a lot of bullshit mythology around FDR and JFK. if he gets credit for anything it's writing his biography of FDR in the 50s when it had only been about a decade since his presidency and many of his inner circle were available to interview and their memories of his administration were still fresh and they hadn't forgotten things with the passage of too many years. of course he couldn't get access to a lot of documents still considered confidential or top secret, but oh well.

ITT: Frogs attempting to portray an offhand comment by a First Lady about the French being generally insufferable, which is already commonly known, as somehow an embarrassment to America's national honor.
